Fantastic place to stay - you won’t want to leave the hotel to view the surrounding parks.

We were fortunate enough to stay at sorel river ranch before they closed for the season. The ranch is beautifully kept with plenty of activities and great food and service. We particularly loved all the animals and our kids helped with feeding the animals and mucking our the stables. You will love the lounge area with great board games, large fireplace and great views over the river - great to spend some time before or after dinner. We were all disappointed to leave and our kids would have much preferred to have spent each day exploring the ranch than out in the national parks. Thankyou to George and Diana especially.

Luxurious and secluded

We had a lovely winter stay at the Sorrel River Ranch. Sadly we were there for two nights only. We had the bed and breakfast package - breakfast was delicious. Dinner was "resort" pricing but fresh and tasty. Service was excellent, friendly and unpretentious. The views on the drive to the resort are incredible - as were the views from the 1 hour horseback ride through the BLM managed land adjacent to the property. The only "down" side is that it is a bit remote from the parks (30 minute drive from town)- so if you are trying to hit the parks early - you have to add a bit to the drive.

Extraordinary family vacation

Outstanding view anywhere you look, so much to do and see, specious clean room, caring and attending people and wonderful food. The location is ideal to reach to national parks and castle valley. Don’t skip ‘Fisher Tower’

2nd time at the ranch

First time here was with friends then came back to show my family. We rode bikes, visited the petting zoo, rode horses, played board games, sat by the river & roasted s’mores at the fire pit. The views here are stunning and it’s so quiet. You can sit on your patio and relax so so easily. It’s pretty incredible this place, we really like it here.

Peaceful ranch in the Colorado River

This ranch is in a beautiful location with lots to do or you can just relax and listen to the river roll by.Nice restaurant and better lounge. Pool and hot tub. Also horse back riding and planned day trips. A bit pricey but worth the trip.
