Unbelieve Hotel with unbelieve service!!!
This hotel is a typical example of "leading from the front" - I'll start by saying the hotel grounds, the marina, Club Prive Beach, all the restaurants including the buffet are all beautiful. The food is fantastic in particular the Steak House! This hotel is run perfectly; it all start at the top of the chain with the GM; Semi Elbaba. I've been to many 5* luxury resorts, and the GM is almost always invisible. However at Rixos Gocek, Mr Semi is always around making sure everything is in order; in my opinion this is how a successful hotel is run - and that is exactly what is happening here. The staff are wonderful, the food is wonderful, the setting is wonderful. A very relaxing holiday. I would recommend paying the extra to go to the club prive Beach, service is outstanding. Mehte from Club Prive was brilliant! In short - don't think; just book. You won't regret staying here. Lastly - they are taking Covid extremely seriously with full checks in place, sanitiser all around the hotel grounds, face masks to be worn while walking around the buffet etc - cannot be faulted at all!
The perfect week escape from the UK!
We have just returned from our beautiful week in Göcek and wow wow wow. It was perfect. Just what we needed, week in the sun, to chill! Turkey is so under rated! The hotel is beautiful, would definitely return, and the location is fab! Great if you love boats etc as lots to see! Göcek town is max 10 min walk along the sea, which is also lovely if you fancy a chance of scenery - there are some lovely bars and restaurants there. Much more modern than expected! Staff at Rixos are amazing, really helpful. The restaurants are lovely, you have to pay about £30 extra for use of the a la carte restaurants, which we were happy to, but Jet2holidays hadn’t specified that would be the case. Nothing major - just a little thing. If you visit, do book a cabanna at the beach as a treat, it’s totally lovely! Biggest shout out to the lovely team at Peoples restaurant too. All in all, a must visit and really great!
Great Hotel & Staff
“Wow” what a Fabulous Hotel, just returned from the best two weeks. We have been coming to Turkey for years, staying A/I adults only and by far this is the best. The Hotel, grounds and staff are great, a massive shout out to Mehmet at the pool bar, what an asset always a smile and time to say hello, how does he remember everyone’s drinks!!! Restaurants are great only niggle are the morons who think it’s funny to wear their face masks as chin straps!!! The Hotel has a policy of wearing face masks whilst walking around the restaurant then they should enforce it. Boat trip to the secret beach is great and the cabana what a day we had, slightly overpriced as reports from last year was £100 and this year £200!!! Still we all had a great day in our own private cabana. All in all we had a great two weeks and would definitely recommend this hotel, thanks to all the staff for making it a wonderful time.
take yoga class from Deniz
In Rixos Premium Göcek, do not miss any of Deniz's yoga classes. You will be very surprised when you experience them. Don't think that this is an ordinary - groundless summer otel yoga class that is given by anybody. Deniz is a very professional and well-trained yoga instructor. You will feel yourself in a fancy yoga class in your town. If you are a yoga lover, Rixos and Deniz are perfect matches for you. Don't miss the chance of refreshing yourself.
We’ve never ever been to Turkey on holiday and having stayed at the Rixos Premium Göcek we may never ever holiday - anywhere else ever again. I’m not sure why we hadn’t considered Turkey as we like sunshine & beaches, we love warm clean blue seas with lovely people, and Turkey has an over abundance of all of these. The Rixos reception is lofty and cool, the check in service great then we caught a golf buggy to our deluxe suite which was deluxe beautifully decorated with a nice large and very soft bed. Other than perhaps a Bose type music dock it lacked nothing, soft white towels robes & slippers, plenty of hanging space and the best rain shower ever :) There are four or five restaurants to choose from and the selection and quality of food on offer was superb, our first night we sat outside on the deck at the Turquoise drank in the atmosphere and also their wonderful champagne. This restaurant overlooks both swimming pools, one saltwater and one not, the tiling is out of this world, the sun loungers plentiful plus cabanas if that’s your thing, at one end is a fab pool bar with swings and sand and a knee deep pool complete with in-pool chairs and tables and when the music starts you will wonder why you haven’t been coming here for years? For me the best bit is definitely the secret beach, catch the little boat transfer from the end of their own pier (please try the bucket on a rope shower when you come back it’s hilarious) Secret Beach is gorgeous, really nice sun loungers toilets & changing beach hut, the beach bar and service from the staff is legend, big shout out to Richie & Joseph, the beach towels crew, the beach crew who endlessly tidy up emptying the terracotta bins, clean the showers and sanitise the beds and definitely not last or least the chefs who make the oh so tasty beach food. On almost our last day we stumbled across the Azure which is a turn left not right at the Secret Beach, up the railway sleepers path is the most gorgeous place, the staff can’t do enough to make your visit memorable but the view out over the Rixos Privè beach through the trees to the yachts bobbing on the greeny blue sea - it’s an awesome venue. At night it all goes on at the Nox, great stage and seating, very thin geezer on rollerblades whizzin by at breakneck speed, drinks are cold or hot if you prefer a Starbucks and plentiful, we saw some great musicians big shout out to BluBand with the crazy bassist they played every type of music that evening. We popped by the spa one morning, OMG it’s so zen like and calming so if that’s your thing you are in for a treat. It’s also a pleasure to walk the paths around the resort there’s a different plant or flower or tree at every turn, never saw a gardener but I assume there must be many as it’s so perfectly manicured - not sure about the spiky trees, don’t mess with them after a drink is my advice! We didn’t have any medical emergency or lose anything valuable so other than arranging a taxi we didn’t really need any help but one evening we were invited for pre dinner drinks by the pool and met the managers, such nice people and I’d like to thank Ahu & Semih for making our evening and holiday special, if you go to the Rixos please seek them out and say hello. No it wasn’t perfect but it’s an imperfect world especially so in 2020, every single member of staff had a mile wide smile and just wanted to make your day a special one, some of the guests could really do with a look in the mirror and they’d see they’re just the same as everybody else not king or queen of the universe, we enjoyed the table tennis but there was so many other activities that we could/should have tried and I highly recommend a stroll into Göcek town (take a face mask) apparently there are 6000 yachts bobbing in the marinas. We’re already planning our return as we loved the hotel, it’s people and it’s location in the 12 islands bay where the green meets the blue, with a drink in its hand and a great big smile.
