Great hotel with perfect service and nature
Service and staff is friendly and excellent !! Nature is the best !! Room is great !! Buffet dinner is nice but can be better !! Cocktails are very special and unique after 6pm near stage !! You should try Spa , and ask for Ms.Fatma for massage !! She is the best !! Must Go Hotel in Turkey ,,
We needed a break desperately
My mother and I needed a much needed break from the stress of 2020, just so happens this was a good deal during my birthday. The hotel is located in a very picturesque cove right next to small town Gocek. reception was nice and easy they done all the paper work and gave us a buggy ride to our room to a beautiful bungalow style building which isn't an eye sore. from the moment we entered it was clear that everything was covid preventative, the room was very nice slightly dated apparently built in 2014, could do with a make over it wasn't usb electronic friendly could do with an update, bathroom was immaculate all sanitations gels and masks provided. I had never been to a adults only hotel, it turned out to be a nice thing I will look out for this in the future, no kids running a mock by the pool etc. there were two main pools both nice and clean with bar, the whole layout was very nature friendly and green. it even has its own Starbucks - which is a part of the all inclusive deal so drink away. the smaller restaurant is 24 hours with pizzas, burgers etc which is nice. The main food hall is fantastic all covid measures are taken, The food variety is fantastic a little restricted due to pandemic but amazing local and western treats. The staff literally bend over backwards to help the willingness to help is amazing 5 star. The bars have a variety of drinks from single malts to all major brands so I was pleased on that front. There is a very small beach right infant but not very good, so just take a small boat trip from harbour to islet with a nice beach including restaurant and all facilities - all inclusive. Those weird looking pods out in the water dont look all that IMO. At reception you can book a boat trip that travels the locals coves and beaches for 3 hours, drinks food etc. it was a lovely trip well worth it - all inclusive. I asked for a beer during this trip and when the lady passed it I commented on how nice and cold it was - she responded isn't your rooms fridge this cold? I said no! she sent maintenance to my room to sort it out, come on now how good is the service here. I also booked a massage at anjana spa was absolutely brilliant. the only negative thing was the spa, steam room seemed to be very over heated and unregulated and the manageress at the spa thought she was something and seemed a bit moody and awkward, her attitude didn't reflect the overall helpful ethos of the resort. we rented a car from the hotel and travelled Fethiye etc all with ease. overall this was a fantastic holiday helped immensely during a terrible year
A much needed break in a beautiful hotel
All you can ask for in an all inclusive hotel. I am not very experienced in the all inclusive deals but Rixos Gocek sure convinced me to consider all inclusive for my next trip (when I can take one again). From the quality of the food in the all the restaurants (tested all of them) to the quality of the staff serving; it was faultless. To all there in Gocek Rixos, thank you for making the only holiday I was able to take in 2020 one that I will remember!
Beautiful scenery and devoted personnel
This hotel is hidden from the main road and is very peaceful. The scenery is great as well as all the activities and amenities available to guests. I would also like to highlight the staff that makes it super easy to relax and not give a second thought about basic and necessary stuff. The People’s restaurant is a bit pricey but is totally worth it, the dishes are intricately crafted and are served very quickly. We have met an amazing waiter Engin who made it his priority to make our evenings memorable and warm. Making a cosy fireplace and serving us treats on that we wouldn’t otherwise try has made it a truly unique experience. This is exactly what we needed at the end of 2020! Thank you Rixos!)))
Not what we signed up for when we booked!
My son and I decided to take a late break for some sun before the winter. We were looking for an adult only resort with multiple restaurants and bars. I always book with British Airways so did some research and found this hotel. It seemed perfect - Adult only, had four restaurants and several bars including poolside bar. We checked in and did not get offered the welcome drink they clearly advertise - chalk that up to them just forgetting. We were driven to our room which was perfect for our needs - 2 bedrooms with a bathroom each. Next morning breakfast was a hearty offering and the staff could not do more for you. I thought we were on to a winner but this was short lived! A small child of around 3 was at the pool on enquiring as we had clearly booked adult only I was informed that they relax this in November - nowhere is this stated on any of the websites or the booking confirmation information which had adult only in capitals on it. To be frank the person on the phone was rude and unhelpful too which didn't help matters. Well we were here now so had to contend with the situation. We decided a trip of the hotel boat around the islands would be good so I again approached the team in guest services to book/pay where I was informed the boat was not running as it was closed for the season - this was clearly not true- we saw it depart for guests and it was later confirmed by another member of guest services that indeed the boat was running but this was too late for us ! We also had problems with drinks - no alcohol ingredients to make the cocktails on the menu and the excuse being that they were winding down for the season. This was also true of the other restaurants (and entertainment which and also ceased) in the complex with only one being open nightly - well we had paid to be here with a fully working resort not what we got! Would I come back to Rixos - NO! Not because of the problems we had but rather the way they were handled. I would not recommend this resort because of that however Erol, who looked after us in the cabana, was great - helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff too must be commended for their helpfulness. Unfortunately the rest has left a bad taste in my mouth from saying they don't off all inclusive in November when they clearly do (I get ask each day if I am all inclusive or BnB) to not handling issues the right way. Come on Rixos if you have a customer issue (or several) at least try to solve it for you customer while they are still on your resort! A little great customer service goes a long way.
