This resort has a great panoramic view to the sea . Also it has a great staff and exeptional service . I think its disadvantage in its architecture on the mountain . The food is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Stay here at your peril: beware of black mold
Our family stayed here for a week in July, in a suite. Within the first 24 hours my wife wasn't feeling well, and we attributed it to the dirty beach (very crowded with many kids and people). After the second day and getting worse, respiratory illness, my wife noticed the wallpaper was patched in the bathroom and hallway areas. She immediately found a large patch coming off the wall, and the wall was covered in black mold. They had simply patched over it. We complained and were given a different room, with apologies about the need for a total renovation that would happen over the off season. Meanwhile, my wife's respiratory illness worsened and was attributed to the mold by our sister and husband who were with us and both are MDs. We complained again at checkout and asked for the mold to be tested and reported back to us. We were assured this would happen, but then after a couple months told the University Lab could not test mold. We were told to file complaints with Hilton Customer Service (through the corporate website, which only gives email contact forms as an option). We have filed numerous complaints and never received any response. Not only was our weeklong family vacation ruined by this experience (our family and sisters family annual vacation), but the illness persisted for months and we were unable to directly assess it without lab tests. Complete FAIL by Hilton. Shameful response and results, now we feel were just mislead by Customer Service at the hotel. We should have been compensated, rooms compensated at the very least. Not to mention we traveled from USA for the family vacation, and all the incidental travel costs in the thousands of dollars. Thank god we didn't have a newborn with us. Stay away. I say this as a long time Hilton Honors member.
Quiet and great food
The hotel is super comfy and clean. The food was amazing, however the timings were a bit reduced, apart from dinner and breakfast the rest of the day there was no way to get a snack to enjoy while on the pool or on the beach. The pools were very quiet and the beach very cristal clear. The entertainment was very poor, the staff did not approach you to welcome you to the activities, I don’t know if it was due to language barrier or they just could not be bothered. The rest of the staff was very attentive. We got an issue with our room and I raised it to guest relation Merve. She was lovely and very helpful, thanks Merve!! The waiters around the pool were super lovely, sorry I didn’t get your names
Hilton bodrum, a place to relax
Great staff, lots of food, great amenities. Plenty to do for the 3 days we stayed, would recommend for all ages especially families with children as they will be occupied whilst the adults relax. Thanks Hilton another great hotel.
Well earned rest, slightly out of season so nice and quiet, we had booked last minute but was quite disappointed with what we had paid and how much the hotel was shutting down due to end of season, was as looked after as it should have been with quite grubby and scruffy areas, hotel definitely needs a refurb, Good rooms and great position with beautiful setting, quite secluded area. Food was ok, lots of it but a obviously catering for the all inclusive market,
