Great Value, great Resort Manager
Transportation between airport and resort was perfectly organized which is quite a feat considering the complexities. Warmly greeted by Resort Manager, Karin Jongman. Throughout our stay, she was everywhere in the large resort, working with the staff and yet always having time to come ask us how we were doing and how she could service us. She even brought our luggage down to the boat for check-out! This is a huge resort and I've never seen a GM/RM more hands-on. She made the holiday special. That said, service from everyone was excellent. Rooms were nice. Our trip was very relaxing. Considering our benefits, the cost of the stay was very low! Best value of any resort that we've stayed at.
Even though we had a hiccup before we arrive as we couldn’t get help from operator and reservations for pickup details and other information we need and this really needs improvement in my opinion. But we did enjoyed our stay and had to extend one more night as we were amazed by the beauty of property. We also love the idea that the resort is trying to save the nature. Well done! Also this must to be mentioned. We’d like to shout out to Sunisa, a lovely restaurant lady (we called her a Flower lady as she always has a big flower on her hair every day) she is very attentive and a standout. Her tone of voice and conversation with her showed the service is in her heart. She even stopped by at our table to say goodbye on our departure, really touched. We’ll definitely come back!
Nice resort poor management
1. Delayed check-in from 2pm to 4pm. 2. Breakfast ran out at 9.44am (see photos) 3. Getting soak on the way out for departure ( could have had other solutions instead of having hotel guests putting on fisherman pants and walk into the water) 4. Asking the restaurant for an ice bucket to be delivered to activity center for a long-tail boat trip but ended up asked guests to go pick up themselves.
Understaffed especially front office who seems to be overwhelmed by large number of guests. Starting from check in to check out, even their manager can't give us information when we ask if we will be on same boat with our friends. Overall facilities and beach is nice. Food was pricey and only one restaurant was open with very limited menu. Breakfast was almost the same everyday. Boats going back to phuket was a big mess, we have to wait for 45 mins and they told us to stay around. It probably better to stay during low season with less guest.
Over price with bad services
We0 arrived today at midday. We were waiting for the room at the restaurant until 15.00 since the reception informed us the room will be ready at 14.00. When i came to the lobby they said the room is not ready yet even we are one hour later than 14:00. I was asking them to give me the key for one of the rooms that i booked room 312 but They said that the policy do not allow them to provide the key yet... then she sharply pull the key away. I booked 4 rooms and l thought i choosed the right hotel for our family holiday... my question is:- What kind of service the hotel provide?? I have been in all kind of hotels and i do believe that The Reservation team needs more experience and knowledge of how to get intouch ... on the other hand i tried to book through the hotel but the results of communicating with them failed more tgan 3 times... and the reservation never call back as they promised.
