Great relaxing time
Got a chance to come here at Anantara rasa nanda is my first time to visit Pha Ngan (I don't like a crowed place) and here they got a bar in front of the Sea called Bisto with a wonderful sea viewed and great service for K.JJ and K.Beta who to taught us to play serfboard is was one of the best of my life to stay here Thanks to everyone who threat us like home
Enjoyable mini break
We thought we would take advantage of excellent rates, lovely weather and the opportunity for a change in scene to visit Koh Phangan. We do like to be comfy so picked the delightful Anantara. There are challenges for five star hotels in pandemics but mostly the hotel weathered everything thrown at it. The beach is peerless, the staff fantastic and the cooking of a high standard. The entertainment was quirky but good fun. Modest criticisms would be for me the décor is a tad dated and dark. Breakfast was at best average and after three days a bit tedious – maybe a special or two? The Bistro being the only restaurant venue open meant quite limited choices for meals. But at the price point and with the best possible attitude it is impossible to mark down. Will probably return early next year if still *stuck* in paradise.
Great service, much needed break
We stayed for 3 nights at the Anantara Rasananda in Koh Phangan. The service was really attentive starting from the Introductory email received from our villa supervisor Khun Sanh before travel, the smooth speedboat transfer from Koh Samui, and the smooth check in process, the attentiveness to our individual requirements (I am vegetarian and the staff at the restaurant knew to bring me the veg. menu without my asking). Our two bedroom pool villa was very comfortable with a small plunge pool. Occupancy was low due to Covid, so we pretty much had the main pool and beach to ourselves in the mornings. The Japanese restaurant was closed so all meals were at the Bistro so the food venue was a bit limited (however it had Western and some Japanese food options we ordered which were excellent, the Thai food was not as exceptional but good enough). They had live entertainment on two nights - one evening with the live Jazz singing was exceptional. I used the spa facilities and the stress relief massage was very good. An acknowledgement of Khun Sanh our villa supervisor is in order, he checked in with us on how things were going a couple of times every day. In terms of activities, there isn’t much to do around the resort however the Staff can organize snorkeling or half day island trips if needed. We just wanted to chill and unwind and managed to do just that with some daily yoga and swimming. The yoga platform at the top of the spa has an amazing view and we also went kayaking near the resort. All in all, a very relaxing break.
Great stay!! Will come back for sure
I stay in a ocean pool villa and I just love everything at the resort. All staffs are professional always offer help and greet me all the time. Facilities are new it seem like they are renovating during the closure of covid-19. Lots of activities in the hotel like spa, paddle boarding, kayaking, swim etc. Villa are big and look very new and modern. Bed is the best so comfortable and make me feel do not want to leave the bed hahaha Our villa is next the the beach as well so just a few step to the sea Can see the sunrise from the bed as well, it is like a dream Food also good, Eat in the resort for all meals but the food always comes late it takes like 30-40 mins at least for all of my meals during my stay (3 days) so if you are very hungry you might get angry hahaha Will come fore sure!! ☺️
Everything was excellent the staff was friendly, great hospitality, professional and always ready to assist. Room clean.good food, good spa.we do recommend this hotel to everyone and we will go back again!!!
