Restaurants & bars

Dining here is a real highlight. Set beneath the ancient canopy of a Ficus tree, the aptly-named Ficus restaurant presents a refined yet relaxed setting beside the hotel's lotus pond and serves all-day breakfasts and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. Named for its beachfront location, the Edge is a great place to sit out and enjoy the view as you savour dishes inspired by South-East Asia. The laid-back Beach Bar is a lovely spot to sip a cocktail – we love the 'Sarogin' – and, as evening falls, a visit to the Wine Bar is a must, with over 200 wines from around the world to choose from.

Aside from the restaurants, the hotel offers a number of exciting culinary experiences, including cooking classes, fruit-carving classes and the opportunity to "catch, cook and dine". If you're looking for a romantic evening for two, the private dining experiences here are a must. From Shipwrecked in Style to a Candelit Jungle Waterfall, find yourself in a secluded spot and select a menu to be prepared by your very own private chef.

Spa & wellness

Looking out across the estuary to a deserted coconut grove and beyond to the Andaman Sea, the spa blends ancient physical and spiritual healing
