A second time here. Always happy!
It’s our second time here. The staff is nice as always:) A comfy bed for sure. I booked Sea View Suite room for 2 nts and feel like home. It’s a small, peaceful, beachfront resort near hua hin city. I dropped at Hua Hin city and take a complimentary shuttle service from there to hotel. - Breakfast come with main dish plus buffet line. Thanks for a surprised birthday cake. We appreciate your service!!
First class resort
There are so many positive things to say about this resort, I’ll start with two incomparable aspects: the friendliest, most accommodating staff you will ever meet, and the best cuisine. Every single staff member serves with cheerfulness and a spirit of accommodation. I was surprised with the quality of food, western foods and fresh-baked bread. The location and views are phenomenal, and living in Bangkok, this is my new resort of leisure.
A nice and quiet resort
The resort is directly on the seafront. The reception is friendly and efficient. There is a 3-story building parallel to the coastline and there are two wings of pool villas enclosing the central area with the swimming pool. There is no sandy beach, to get into the sea you have to go down some rocks. The pool is not very large with a part for children and a 1,20 meter deep basin behind it. There are enough relaxing beds and there is ample shade. We had booked for two nights and had a room on the 2nd floor, no elevator. The room is spacious with an open area for bath, shower and toilet, which can be closed off by large sliding doors, but privacy for the toilet is a bit of an issue. There is a small fridge with some soft drinks. You can also make your own tea and coffee, although I found the latter not very attractive. There are pads provided but how to use these is unclear, since there is no percolator. Soak it in hot water and you will get a terrible brew. Better get the coffee downstairs from the machines. WiFi works very well in most areas. The restaurant has a closed and an open area, which both look nice. Service is very friendly. However, I cannot recommend to eat there. My Caesars salad was not what I am used to, for dinner I had a grilled pork chop with some curry spread over it and white rice, not a great meal. The second night I tried the Penne alla vongole, according to the menu with a white wine sauce. Maybe a drop of such sauce was spilt somewhere but my careful research did not reveal it, so just dry penne with a few shells. One of the worst meals I ever had in Thailand I am sorry to say. Maybe the Thai food is great, but they certainly have to improve on their western dishes of which, by the way, there is quite some choice. Breakfast is buffet style with eggs of choice served separately. It is adequate.
