A perfect relaxing stay!

A few weeks ago we visited friends in Chiang Rai and they recommended The Legend Resort. It was a perfect recommendation, the staff was very friendly from the arrival at the resort till we left. Due the current situation the resort was not full and it was very quiet, at breakfast we had a look over the river and enjoyed the view. In the evening we went to the Italian Restaurant and the team served Thai food as well. We can mention a lot of staff who made our stay so perfect and relaxing, but then we have to mention all staff! Thank you for this great, perfect and relaxing stay. Sure that we will return soon.

Lovely riverfront property

The Legend is a lovely property with a large open air lobby and restaurant. My room was amazing, very large and well kept. The first day I was there I took a boat trip from the back of the hotel up the river, which was a lot of fun. I wish I had been in Chiang Rai more than two days to enjoy this nice property. The staff was super courteous and eager to please. Despite being along the river, they did a good job with mosquito control. Because of COVID-19 it wasn’t as full as a wonderful property like this is sure to be once the pandemic passes. I feel lucky to have gotten a good price on a wonderful room here which I’m sure will be far more expensive once the pandemic passes.

The Legend is the Best!

My family & I stayed here 6 nights and we truly enjoyed our stay. The manager came to greet us our first morning and served us breakfast a couple of times and helped us carry our bags on the day we checked out! The staff is so dedicated and friendly. The poolside overlooking the river is so lovely. The gym is very neat as is the campus itself. Very cool gardens and ponds. If you ever are in Chiangrai on vacation this surely is the place to be! Thanks Stefan and your amazing team!

Great Chiang Rai Family vacation

Easy check-in, very low rate die to Covid situation. Key staff spoke English surprisingly well. We had 2 bungalows for 6 people (incl 5 old and baby). Helpful staff was great with our kids. We were the only guests for the 3 days we stayed, bad for hotel staff but we had the experience of a lifetime, everybody took care of us. Loved the infinity pool, we were allowed to invite family (they live nearby) and had a private pool party into the night. Hotel jack of all trades Stefan ensured that food and drinks (no alcohol due to Covid) were served. He also was wonderful, took care of everything, a true professional. I'll miss him. Spa was closed and menu choices were limited but that was expected during this pandemic. Staff was great about wearing masks, social distancing etc. Next to a river so mosquitos are a bit of a problem but repellent is provided as well as citronella candles, I did not get a bite. If you want to spend a great time like this, hurry up while it lasts. Please do as we did and leave generous tips, still cheapest vacation at this level.

1st visit to Chiangrai

We called the hotel directly & booked - friendly staff from reservations, restaurants, front office & Indy & Stefan for always looking out for us. We loved the breakfast setting and even if it was ala carte due to low occupancy, food was tasty & well presented. Lovely evening cocktails .. we loved the studio room especially the higher floors where you can enjoy listening to the birds & greenery. The hotel landscape is beautiful and very green. Please visit them.. you will experience top notch Thai warm hospitality- definitely we are coming back
