Great room, nice view
This time we stayed on 48th FL. The room is large enough and sparkling clean, well equipped with everything we need. The view of Bangkok catched our eyes. All officers provide us great service which we really appreciated.
One of the best hotels in Bangkok.
We had such a memorable experience with our first family stay at Banyan Tree Bangkok. All the staffs were professional, nice and friendly. While waiting for checking in at the lobby Khun Sombat and Khun Nok took very good care of us. They even offered some cakes and drinks for our children. The chief concierge Khun Jackie, with his epic service, he handsomely upgraded our room to one-bedroom suite which was very spacious with everything so fresh and clean. They also offer various kinds of complimentary tropical fruits. Our children love it so much that they wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The Moon Bar at the rooftop is a very special place to visit with a nice scenery where we could spend time to relax and see most of Bangkok beautiful landscape from the top view in both daylight or at night. All facilities are fantastic. We would highly recommend you not to miss this place when you visit Bangkok.
Girls night away
The front staff is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were a little dated but beds comfortable and clean. The staff in the lobby bar and breakfast area wonderful. The spa service was quite good. Hotel better suited for business travel than a girls night away.
Staycation August 2020
- The front Service staffs were wonderful. - The Chinese buffet restaurant was also decent. - The breakfast buffet was great. However, one of the F&B staff were not nice and treated us with light temper. But the manager warned her on her behaviour. - The room was clean and space out nicely. Overall it was a pleasant stay except one small issue on the F&B.
Overrated. Great views but definitely not a luxury property
We stayed at the Banyan Tree Bangkok in August and utilized their 'The Infinity' vouchers. While the hotel has stunning views and large sized clean rooms, it is definitely not a luxury property-more like a 4 star hotel trying to masquerade as one. During check-in at the tired looking lobby, we were greeted by a receptionist who appeared to be in a sour mood. After we requested for an upgrade to their new Serenity Rooms, she lied to us that these rooms weren't available on weekdays and refused our request for late check-out. After showing another staff that these new rooms were indeed available for booking on the hotel website, a kind duty manager granted us the upgrade as well as our request for late check-out. The rooms while large and clean already shows signs of wear and tear and unfortunately does not come with the bells and whistles that one would expect in a modern hotel ie: USB charging outlets or a stationery kit. The fitness center was a complete joke as it closed at 6pm meaning that anyone returning back to the hotel in the evening wouldn't be able to use it. Breakfast at Romsai was an underwhelming experience considering that the hotel prides itself in being home to some of Bangkok's famous eateries. The service was very slow, the food itself nothing to write home about and the staff missed part of my orders. Having said this, the hotel does have some amazing staff such as the friendly concierge and the amazing team at Baiyun where the staff were attentive and friendly. But if I were to look for a luxury experience, I would look elsewhere.
