Rented luxury safari camp
This tented camp brings luxury to camping in the savannah of the Serengeti.it is a mobile camp and when we visited it was ideally located near several Mara River crossing points for the great wildebeest migration. The central area is comfortable, the food excellent, the camp fire welcoming and the staff friendly. I’d like to give Chobi a special mention for his care around our tent and his wonderful talking shower! Our driver / guide was Robert, I cannot speak highly enough of this delightful man with eagle eyes for wildlife and an uncanny ability to locate the animal you’re looking for. A wonderful few days, highly recommended.
Lovely camp great staff
Not a lodge so be prepared for a camp experience. That said it is a very enjoyable experience due in large part to a warm and most accommodating staff. Menu is limited but very good. They can handle special requests with some notice. Super game viewing. Some minor issues but immediately resolved. They were even able to provide power to my tent for CPAP. Great staff and great service. Rustic and charming. I would love to stay here again.
An Amazing Serengeti Camp
My wife and I were so impressed with how the camp was spotless, the food was amazing (including our box lunch) and the staff was so friendly. Our room was so nicely set up to make it comfortable for us and it was spotlessly clean.
Luxury in the Serengeti.....
We spent 3 nights at the camp and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - the food, the staff, the tent and especially our guide Steven were all great. The camp boss was always available and greeted us when we got back from our daily safaris. Comfortable, spacious tents and the staff service (thank you especially to Joel) were outstanding. The animal viewing while on safari was superb and we got to see the Big 5 again this trip. Super time to close out our 2 week trip.
Fantastic wildlife viewing
We stayed for 3 nights in mid September and seemed to time the animal population of the great migration well. The number and density of the ungulates was beyond belief. We had a guide named Hassani Fataki and he was spectacular. He was very knowledgeable of the flora, fauna, geography and history of Tanzania. His English was very proficient and he was a real gentleman. He had a knack for finding the game. within the first 30 minutes after he picked us up at the airstrip, we observed the crossing of the Mara River by elephants and wildebeests and of course a NIle crocodile "thinning" the wildebeest herd. The camp manager, Godwin, was very professional and the staff was great. Our tent valet, George, was most attentive. The food was delicious and plentiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the semi-rustic experience (glamping as we call it). If you want to see the African wildlife in September, this is a great place to visit.
