The unspoilt island of Saint Lucia is a photographer’s delight with lush mountains, tropical forests and the majestic Pitons. In the north, the capital Castries is a busy harbour, whilst in the south, you’ll find picturesque villages and the oldest town, Soufrière, which lies at the foot of the magnificent 2,600 feet twin Pitons. Interlaced between are banana plantations, rainforest valleys, coves of golden sand and dazzlingly clear waters of emerald green.

Exploration is key to discovering the breathtaking beauty of this island. The open-air markets offer an irresistible selection of tropical fruits, vegetables and fish, amongst pottery and batik clothing. Sail along the spectacular coastline, or take a tour to the world’s only ‘drive-in’ volcano. The vast National Rainforest is a delight to explore for birdwatchers, hikers and nature-lovers whilst for divers, snorkellers, fishermen and sailors, the large areas of marine national park provide spectacular opportunities. The Jazz Festival (held yearly in May) is a popular event – book early to join the party!
