Beautiful Villa in restful surroundings

The main reception is in what was an old house. It is set in a lovely setting and the restaurant is upstairs overlooking the swimming pool. The villas are set in the grounds of the property which means a buggy ride or you can use the free bikes. Our villa came with a lounge, bedroom and bathroom, all very spacious. Outside was a plunge pool and two sun loungers. An ideal set up in which to totally relax yet it is only a half hour drive to Anuradhapura. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful which made our stay even more comfortable.

Everything was perfect

This was our first time at uga ulagalla. It was just a one day stay at the hotel but to be honest this is the best experience we ever had. Everything was perfect. Location is really wonderful. Rooms and all facilities are awesome. Most of all, their service and response time is unmatchable.

The best place for honeymoon in Sri Lanka

Uga Ulagalla is one of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka which everyone should definitely visit and enjoy. It is the best place for a newly married couple to start their journey with blessings. We love everything about Ulagalla and so far we haven’t received such a great hospitality from anywhere else. Everyone in the staff is so friendly kind and welcoming. We felt truly is was our home. You will not regret anything about Ulagalla because it is the most beautiful calm and delightful stay you could ever enjoy. They uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. Ulagalla is a home away from home with adequate safety and security. Free WiFi with highest level of connectivity. bed is of good quality, clean, well maintained, and well designed and well positioned in the room to allow proper circulation. Well maintained luxurious bathrooms. Improved lighting serves to enhance the guestroom experience and provide a sense of security. The Aroma of the property influence the guest’s perception of the quality and cleanliness. Delicious food with great service that we enjoyed to the best. Unforgettable check in with a heart touching welcome and a personalized letter following some traditional rituals and check out with a beautiful memory that anyone could never forget. Clear directions to know what to do or where to go when we enter the hotel. The prompt service provided by the front desk agents made our stay so much comfortable and convenient. The main point we observed at Ulagalla is the consistency. Specially during a situation like covid with no guests visiting as before everyone at Ulagalla makes sure to maintain the standards of cleanliness to foods no matter what. We were the only couple for the entire property and we still received the same level of great service and high quality maintenance which we never expected. And we have never experienced such a heart touching hospitality from anywhere else in the world. Can’t wait to visit Ulagalla with out entire family again to enjoy relax and have a nice stay.

5* quality all the way

From arrival to departure we received first class service from the friendly and welcoming staff. The villas are extremely well appointed and very clean. Never had any concerns about safety during our entire stay. We ate in the restaurant on all three nights and tried a wide range of food all of which was excellent. Ideally placed to visit Anuradhapura, Ritigala and Minihtale all within approximately 30 minutes drive. Highly recommended.

Exceptional

This was our 8th visit to Ulagalla but the first one done with our 3 month old granddaughter. This location was decided as her first outstation trip due to the excellent safety , hygiene and the professional service we had experienced during our earlier visits. And we were not disappointed . Starting from Dilrukshi who extended a warm welcome to all of us including a special welcome to baby Taheli and ensured we had an early check in after the drive from Colombo, to “ Uncle Sumane” who made certain he was the only person to provide us with the buggy service to and fro from our Villas , Lahiru in the restaurant for remembering to prepare extra spicy food for our daughter Amritha and both Anura and Amarasinghe in housekeeping for making our daughter in law Ruvindi comfortable knowing her baby was always in a Villa which was exceptionally clean and hygienic. This will not be our last visit and we are confident the exceptional standards would always continue.
