A superb Spa to detox
My wife and I have visited several detox spas and this is the best so far. It is in a lovely location and is definitely 5 star. The treatments are excellent and well organised and in general the 7 day detox programme works extremely well There is plenty to do the food is prepared to an excellent standard and all the staff are highly professional The bedrooms are spacious and very very comfortable Thoroughly recommend Sha Wellness
I highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful place if you are looking to relax, eat healthy and detox. The treatments, the food and the services are excellent! I have been here three times already and I can say it’s one of my favorite places. The experience is by far the best I had at any kind of wellness center before going to Sha. Congratulations for the passion and professionalism!
Escape routine and total relax
I needed a total relaxation and escape from my routine and I am really happy I chose SHA. So right from the moment I arrived, felt I am "switching off" , I guess it is largely due to the serene, calm atmosphere and the views to the mountains from the room, all the hotel is very clean and pleasant, beautiful modern design. Went for the detox program and indeed, after being in many hotels where you simply have all inclusive "stuff your face" buffet, this is a completely different approach and way to treat your body and mind. I often do intermittent fasting so it was not too difficult to adjust to the diet, on top of that the food was really delicious. I guess the calm atmosphere allowed me to enjoy it even more. Also highly recommend the morning walks. All in all I cannot think of any similar place that I would have been to that would match SHA in what it offers.
We wanted a wellness center where I can loose weight and my wife can have some energizing program. We have chosen SHA near Alicante . I should have been more careful. It was mandatory to choose one of the program , expensive one. Than once you are there the agenda manager sells you all the same program once again. The place is not very new , cleanses issues in the elevator , in the room , on the staircase ( picture at request) But the most unreal experience was the 15 minutes derma -aesthetic consultation that turned into a two hours treatment without telling me what the procedure will be . It was a perfect scam to sell the fantastic benefits of how superbly I will look like without explaining what the treatment is all about it and NOTHING on the COST. I never imagined that a one and a half hour treatment can cost 7200 EUR . Yes 7200 Eur. I could have not paid because I have signed nothing before. I did not consented to nothing. Yet I paid because i did not wanted to get in a legal issue. I will warn everybody that goes to SHA , please ask the prices before the treatment and do NOT assume that anything has to do with common sense. I wanted to clarify the issue with the clinic manager. Waist of time. They really need some serious law suit to wake them up to fairness. Extremely disappointed by the behavior of the management . It s a pity for a bunch of well intentioned staff. Great place with management problems
I believe the place is good if you choose a package program that is easy to manage but not an a la carte that requires more attention. My repeated attempt to go for a short tailor made program has failed again. Therapists I have asked for told me they never received the request, and weird thing on departure was that the receptionist that was checking me out told me that I have an underwater massage scheduled (allegedly at my request which I never made) at an hour after the checkout and when actually they knew I was leaving for the train station to go home. Any attempts to explain that it’s an obvious mistake on their part where met with quite an unfriendly attitude by that receptionist lady who wouldn’t let me go for an hour (which was my last hour before the departure that I was planning to spend on their sunny terrace and not in the reception). The receptionist lady never apologised when the confusion was finally sorted out and in the end escaped leaving a colleague with me - I guess to avoid the apologies. Considering the incredible high price of the stay that I was paying I think I would deserve a better treatment. Not thinking of going back now for sure as if you don’t like a masseuse you can try to reschedule with someone else but to avoid a receptionist would be a bigger problem and would bring the bad memories back...
