Enjoy the best of both worlds at this colonial-style hotel – perfectly placed for peace and relaxation, yet within easy reach of the buzzing marina. Enjoy a welcome glass of Champagne before taking a stroll around the beautifully maintained gardens and spacious crescent-shaped pool. The hotel has an excellent contemporary art collection and a number of paintings and sculptures from local artists are dotted around. A free shuttle runs to Ciutadella de Menorca, the beautiful and historic former capital. All meals are served at the Son Xoriguer Restaurant, a relaxing spot for a buffet breakfast, themed dinners and tasty Mediterranean cuisine with an à la carte option. The weekly six-course gala dinner is superb and the hotel offers a great selection of fine local and international wines. During the day you can enjoy refreshments at the pool bar and grilled lunches on the terrace at Bar Millennium, which becomes an elegant venue for cocktails and live piano music when the sun sets. The traditional Mediterranean-style rooms are in low-rise buildings overlooking the gardens and pool; they’re either ground floor with a terrace or first floor with a balcony, and each room has contemporary amenities including free Wi-Fi and a pillow menu. Standard Rooms are cosy and comfortable while Standard Terrace Rooms have direct access to the garden and pool area. Junior Suites are more spacious and have a living area, a bathroom with whirlpool bath and a balcony or terrace.
These suites are ideal if you’re looking for your own space in a comfortable apartment, but still like the idea of having access to a full-service resort. The exclusive two-storey buildings are in landscaped gardens with beautiful Mediterranean Sea views, just a stone’s throw from the white sands of Punta Prima. Further up the hillside you’ll find the sister hotel, Insotel Punta Prima Resort & Spa, where you can enjoy the pools, à la carte restaurants, kids’ club and daily entertainment. Resort guests do not have access to the Prestige complex though, meaning you can relax and soak up the sun in private. There’s an indoor pool for families in the morning and adults only in the afternoon, a fitness centre and exclusive Prestige Spa with a range of treatments, sauna, steamroom and hydro-massage pool. The Prestige’s own stunning outdoor pool has breathtaking sea views, an adjacent snack bar and a lounge bar with a beautiful open-air terrace overlooking the water. You have your own restaurants: the Nura, which serves international and Menorcan buffets; and Sa Sivina, a new à la carte restaurant set on the terrace of the Lobby Bar with sea views and Mediterranean gourmet cuisine (reservation required). Just a few moments up the hill you can enjoy the à la carte options of Il Faro Italian Restaurant and Aire Tex Mex at Insotel Punta Prima Resort & Spa. Suites have either garden or sea views. Prestige Garden View Suites with Terrace are extremely spacious, designed in traditional Menorcan style with a living room, large terrace with sun loungers and bathroom with hydromassage bathtub and shower. Prestige Sea View Suites with Terrace are as above but with Mediterranean Sea views.
