Peace... perfect place to disconnect in a wonderful hotel
Short break to disconnect. Staff wonderful and taking care of all the details. The situation couldn't be better. Perfect place for couples or friends to enjoy holidays in Mallorca! Will be back very soon 😍
Wonderful location for a relaxing holiday
I have just returned from a 2 week holiday at this excellent hotel. We were made very welcome and safe during the current climate, all COVID 19 protocols were in place and rigorously adhered to by all hotel staff. The views from the hotel of Santa Ponsa bay were stunning and the food and drinks (All Inclusive) were excellent. A special mention to Katrina and the staff at the Star Prestige terrace bar who looked after us with refreshments. Also a big thanks to the restaurant and main bar staff for being so friendly and efficient We will definitely be coming back. Mark & Carol Preston
Wonderful hotel for a relaxing break
We stayed here for 10 days all-inclusive recently and what can I say. We were expecting it to be good but it exceeded all our expectations! We stayed in a superior suite with a jacuzzi on a very large balcony. Well worth the upgrade. The views from here and the whole hotel were stunning. The food at every meal was excellent. Last but not least all the staff were brilliant - everyone so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
It was great
After everything that has happened we needed some time off to relax before heading back to work and this hotel was great! I felt safe from n regards to COVID the staff did everything in their power to follow the distancing rules and extra precautions as well. Anyway can’t wait to come back. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is clean and the views are amazing. Traveling from the UK to the islands has been a wonderful way to reset. Definitely coming back
We got swapped to Jardin De Sol when our first hotel wasn't available due to the covid situation. We should not have worried in was near perfect. Firstly covid, the staff were fastidious about the precautions and insisted guests followed suite. To be honest you would find a hand sanitizer station every few steps you took. The pool area was spotless and the pool spectacular, albeit there were fewer guests than I guess normally stay there. There were only a couple of guests who insisted on putting their towels down at the crack of dawn. So there were plenty of beds and some nice proper beds under the shade of the building for when it got too hot. Each bed was misted with a sanitizer every working and wiped down by a member of staff each time a guest left. Shade was a problem if you need it, it was full on sun all day long, even the rooms face south, so your balcony is no respite. The highlight of each day seemed to be aquafit in the pool. When they turned off the piped chillout music and pumped out the 135bpm pop tunes. Culminating with madre tierra which always got a big cheer. I dont really do sports or fitness, but there was always people on the running machines or on the surf board things in the sea. The menus in the pool side bar are accessed by a qr code on your mobile phone. A bit tricky in the sunlight but a good idea. I personally found the bar food a little bit limited. We were looking for a good salad as we were eating out at night, and we struggled a bit. The rooms were very large and stylish, with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. There is also a premium part to the hotel where you get your own four poster double sun bed and ourdoor hot tub (or cold tub I would hope). The only first world complaint about the room was they give you a nespresso machine but only four pods of coffee. The four pods on arrival are seemingly meant to last for the week. I couldn't understand why these aren't replenished every day. The evening entertainment was always entertaining if not always very good. But bless the acts they throw their life and soul into it even if it's a tough crowd. The act starts at 9:30 on the dot and play till 11:00 The buffet restaurant was my biggest issue both for breakfast and dinner. The covid regulations mean that all the food has to be covered and is served to you on request. However trying to see what is inside a covered dish is very hard. The signage was minimal and whilst the ingredients were in english and German, the name of the dish was only in spanish. Imagine a sponge dessert billed in english as butter/flour/sugar. I wanted to know what is was, not how to make it. It might have been better handled if the servers had a few more english words. But there was a language barrier in some instances. I do attempt a muchos gracias and an adios but I'm hopeless otherwise. I'm sure I missed out on some fine dishes because of a lack of english in the serving staff. Saying that they are in 35 degrees of heat in full uniform and a mask so who am I to whinge. Another covid thing is condiments cannot be shared, but it was a nightmare trying to get salt(it was needed), pepper, oil, vinegar and jam. Jam took a four person huddle to figure out what what we needed. But these are pretty complaints in an otherwise perfect stay. If you are not full board use the local pizza restaurants, the two we tried were great, but they need our business to stay afloat. Walking to santa ponsa is very doable but the heat is against you, allow a good 20 minute stretch of the legs. The square is deserted if that is your thing.
