Calm in the city
very pleasant stay in this converted convent in the middle of Palma - great location close to everything but still secluded - quiet and relaxed atmosphere at the hotel and they have a great restaurant
A girls weekend away
My friend booked this hotel for us to meet in Mallorca for a chill girls weekend get together. I’d arrived first. The hotel is super well located in the center. The staff is unbelievable friendly. Our room was upgraded for a suite with a bath. OMG. It was gorgeous. The room was big. Plenty of space. Nicely decorated. All amenities from L’Occitane. The bed linen so smooth. There were plenty of free glass bottled water in the room all complimentary. Nice fruits. A nespresso machine. If you wanted fresh milk they would bring to the room. To use the sauna and spa, it is private by room. So you need to book a time. We did for 2 days in a row. The area is so beautiful. They also have a water mattress in the area for relaxing. Free tea and nuts are left in the spa area to enjoy. As well a frigobar with plenty of water. The breakfast is good. A great selection of fruits, eggs can be ordered. Drinks. The orange juice was amazingly fresh. Cereal bars, local food, breads etc.... we rentes a car for day with the hotel. We got an amazing car for 60 euros, the hotel manager so friendly explained to us all the routes, even gave us a beach bag for us to carry our stuff. The hotel is still part of the convento where the priest live. One floor (the 1) is their house, the manager explained to us was an agreement when the hotel lease the building. They refurbished the priest rooms as well. And they kept most of the main structure to keep the original idea. And make the modern on top. What is visible in the structures in the ceilings. Each room is modern decorated by a different designer. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant that is a Michelin was not operating with the chef as he was on holidays. But what an amazing weekend. They have a small gym, that is fine for a quick training. And a nice terrace and pool that should be great for summer
A true gem
The hotel is a true gem, an oasis in the busy old town of Palma. The rooms are cozy and stylish, the service is attentive and the food and the drinks in the bar and the restaurant are world-class. The private (free of extra charges) spa is a highlight. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend on the island.
Very friendly staff - great breakfast
The hotel has very nice rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. It is located in a nice and quiet yet central area of Palma. The breakfast is a buffet with all you can wish for, very delicious- and you can even order eggs as you like. One small thing: we could hear every time the room next floor used their bathroom... But all in all a super hotel, and we will certainly be back!
Top marks for this beautiful hotel!
We stayed for 7 nights in January and had a perfect stay. The hotel is a peaceful haven in a pedestrianised street in the lovely old town of Palma. The public spaces and guest rooms of the hotel - converted from a former convent - have been styled to offer a serene contemporary feel. The staff are another major asset; all of them going out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Have booked to return to this lovely hotel later in the year!
