Bad services - Rude staff
Stayed 4 days at this hotel because we’ve been moved from the initial one Grand Paladium This resort is nice and kind of that’s it The staff is very rude ,they actually don’t care at all about you Outside at the pool no one comes to ask if you need anything...if you need something you have to go and get it We had all inclusive which in the end found out that was actually just 75% all inclusive Limited room services (very expensive being on pandemic times) 13€ for couple of Coca Cola .... Frezzed sandwiches (reheated in microwave) and Lay’s (supermarket chips) Comes inside the room without announcing or even knocking at the door ... with a rude attitude still. More much to say about it (friends experiences) but I’ll stop here as this was my experience In the end the only good thing about this hotel was the outside beauty Anything else ... AWFUL ! I would not recommend at all !
So today is our first day at the hotel, total disappointment worst customer service, awful staff, we were given limited information on the hotel facilities we were told to go on the website and check , we asked what was included in vip service and we were told water ?!, we ordered drinks at the poolside bar, the waitress gave us the wrong drink and instead of apologising she rolled her eyes and said some comment under her breath, when we asked her what did you say she again said something and walked off. Then we got to our room and there were no instructions to how to use the jacuzzi and when I asked , I was told it’s so simple. We then ordered soft drinks in our room and were not provided with a bottle opener and again when we asked for it they told us it’s in the room, I advised them no we don’t they finally agreed and sent a opener. We are aware the hotel has limited services however when we went down to reception to ask for local places that would deliver food the receptionist gave us 3 incorrect websites, we gave up with her and researched ourselves for a food delivery place. Once we ordered our own food we asked for some plates and crockery we were told there was a charge to bring up plates! Also we have a duplex floor and each time they come to our room they knock, and when your on the top level you can’t hear, there is no doorbell , the waiter opened our room as we did not hear the door and he told us off and said next time I knock the door make sure you open the door, I can’t stress enough this is the worse customer hotel, and we are only day 1 of our stay here
Lovely Hotel and location.....but....
I was instantly impressed when we arrived at this hotel, the bright and airy reception area was clean and as soon as we walked in we could see the pool and bar area through the window at the back , and i knew i would love it. I think we checked in with a lady called Vanessa, who was lovely and very helpful and we went to our room to unpack. During the rest of the stay i would only like to point out that we found that we were hanging around a lot at reception if we needed to speak to someone - and also at the pool bar, seemed lack of customer service in some cases. The hotel was busy but due to covid not as busy as it would be so maybe due to less staff, but as i said, it wasnt that busy so i couldnt work out why it took so long to get a drink at the bar during the day. It seemed that cleaning glasses and putting away was a priority rather than serving people standing there. We also found that returning to our room after the day at the pool or beach, hadn't been cleaned and often found ourselves calling down for milk for a cup of coffee. I am not one to write negative reviews and i would love to come back to this hotel so this is really just a review for the hotel to perhaps see if any small changes can be made. Other than that, lovely rooms and stunning pool area and views!! :)
Beautiful peaceful hotel
Stayed here 12th to 15th sept, we was moved here as our hotel closed was very worried as it's not an all inclusive hotel and was only set up for people who have had their hotel moved however I was massively surprised breakfast 7:30 till 10:30 had so much vairence of food just not a good English fry up lol then snacks from 10:30 to 13:30 lunch till 15:30 then snacks till diner time which was 19:30 till 22:30 then snacks till midnight.. The lunch menus were amazing everything cooked fresh the dinner menus was even more amazing all buffet style but still steaks, srimp, prawns, pork all cooked fresh.. The snacks were like burger n chips,Turkey n cheese croissants, salad croissants, nuggets etc I thought it would habe just been crisps or biscuits but it was great.. drinks all through the day n night till midnight.. some drinks wasn't included like 43 my favourite but was only 2 euro however all cocktails beers, bracadi, wines, prosseco, cava etc was included.. and we had 50% off any drink that wasn't which were hardly any.. The spa was half price with 10% off treatments.. We was on floor 4 room 405 to 409 with pool views rooms were spacious and lush you can only smoke on your balcony but when we were by the pool on top deck we had a sneaky Sig as no one was there n we always used an ashtray.. The pictures of the pool and hotel don't do justice it's so soreal when you arrive being right on the beach everywhere is so beautiful it was pretty empty we had the hot tub to ourselves and day beds no one was really there.. The staff are helpful on our last day, check out was at 12pm but gave it us till 1pm or we could pay 100euro till 6pm but we didn't we just put our stuff in the free lockers and there's changing rooms with showers our flight wasn't till 9.40pm we was allowed food and drinks till we left even though we checked out at 1pm.. We only used our masks to walk into the restaurant and when we got up to go to the buffet but except for that we never worn them even though they said wear them in all public areas we was never asked.. free beach towel everyday too..Mini fridge with water n hairdryer n just ask for iron n board.. honestly it's so lovely here our booked hotel was a 5 star spa the Grand palladuim but I couldn't fault the change it's like a 5 star here.. The track n trace is a joke at the airports we had to log onto the .gov website you can put random details of a fake person n even though boarder control men are there no one checked anything they just said did u do it and I said yeah n then went ok bye to everyone who was on the plane..Ibiza its self is quiet nothing really open no clubs most shops shut the few that were open closed at 8pm or 10pm the only thing open after that was a petrol station but we didn't need to go anywhere, we were ordering 2 to 3 drinks each at a time n going up to the top deck where the hot tub was n chilling in the sun or we walked along the beach n coastline finding crabs n sea life so glad we went there was 8 of us girls
Stayed for a week in a room with a sea view which was well worth the extra cost for the great view. Room was nice and large, and the bed just about soft enough. The power shower was one of the best I’ve ever used. The hotel staff were very friendly especially Anna at the front desk. Because of covid restrictions breakfast has to be booked and has table service. Couple of mornings it was a bit chaotic but in fairness the staff are getting used to the regime as well. We found all the staff to be extremely friendly. The hotel itself is ultra modern with spacious and well kept communal areas. The pool and surrounding area were amazing and not crowded during our visit. Definitely return and can’t praise the staff highly enough. We stayed in room 529.
