From Santiago, visit the Casablanca Valley where vineyards are scattered over gentle slopes which boast nutrient-rich soils that are fed by underground wells. This region is the most modern wine-producing region in Chile. Visit the Matetic and Casa del Bosque vineyards (or similar) where you‘ll learn about the produce and have a chance to taste wines such as signature Carménère reds or a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or a dry Chardonnay.
Featuring one of the world's most scenic border crossings, the trip between the Argentinian and Chilean Lake Districts is an incredible journey by road and boat. You'll depart from either Puerto Varas or Bariloche and sail across three lakes that are connected by four overland legs. Enjoy the beauty of the Andean landscapes and witness highlights such as Lake Nahuel Huapi, Cerro Tronador, the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes and Lake Llanquihue.
