Interesting small hotel

This hotel is in the old heart od the city which has been devastated by the riots however inside the hotel all is calm and peaceful nice rooms great restaurant and very obliging staff Roof top bar and pool great place to have a sundowner

Classic charm and elegance in the heart of Santiago

We stayed 3 nights in The Singular at the start of an 18 night holiday. The plan was to do some local sightseeing and take in some of the great food. Because the hotel is so well situated in the centre it is of course close to Plaza Italia which until recently has been the meeting place for the protestors who are staging anti government demonstrations. So unfortunately whilst walking around we were very aware of the anti government and police graffiti and of the destruction that has taken part in the centre of Santiago. So it was with great relief we could get back to The Singular were the staff and facilities are absolutley second to none. The rooms are large and spacious with large marble bathrooms to boot. The rooms are a little bit dark and the room lighting is not the best so be aware if doing make-up :-) The roof top pool is small but well designed and has a few comfortable longers to relax on. There is a separate outdoor eating and drinking area where you can go for a snack when it gets a bit too hot by the pool. In fact the Rooftop Bar area inside is delightful and we ate at the bar a couple of times whilst we stopped. Breakfast was served in the main restaurant on the ground floor and offered plenty of options for every palate. We dined in the restaurant on our last night as it is reportedly one of the best dining options in the city and it didnt dissapoint and finished off our stay in style. There is also a nice Spa in the basement floor and whilst we didnt partake in any treatments, the Sauna and Steam rooms were really nice to use. Above all most credit should go to the staff as they couldnt do enough for us and we would particularly like to mention Gabriel who was very pleasant and helpful throughout and we wish him the best of luck for the future

Lovely staff

We had to cancel our booking due to flying early because of the Covid 19 virus, but we had many hours to wait for our flight to the USA, so we headed to the Singular where Sergio helped us by offering walks, nourishment at the bar and clean bathrooms. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice as always

Very nice as usual. At the moment there can be some fights between police and students in the area .... but you are 100% safe in and around the hotel. Still one of my favorite hotels in Santiago. Highly recommended.

Great stay but... a rogue charge on my Barclaycard - they said nothing to pay!

The hotel is excellent but they swiped my card and left a charge on it. Now 5 days from leaving. Two emails ignored. Why do hotels do this? Has spoiled a good experience. Room good and breakfast limited but good quality.
