The Singular Patagonia, as its name would suggest, is a one-of-a-kind hotel which boasts a magnificent location on the shore of the Última Esperanza Sound, just outside the outdoor adventure capital of Patagonia, Puerto Natales. From the moment you arrive at this early 20th-Century former industrial meat-processing plant you will be impressed by the unique architecture and warm welcome. The building’s history is evident with a collection of factory artifacts throughout – The Singular is very much part hotel and part museum. Spending time in Chilean Patagonia is all about exploring the great outdoors, a concept that is actively encouraged at The Singular. You can partake in a wide range of excursions and tours, all of which are included in your stay, and head into the wilds of Patagonia on a trekking, cycling or horse riding excursion. The hotel also owns a speed boat which you can board from The Singular’s own dock and join a navigation of the awe-inspiring Patagonia Fjords. On your return it’s time to indulge at The Singular Spa which offers health and beauty therapies and features a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, steamroom and a sauna. Dining here is an experience in itself with a particularly spectacular setting – The Singular Restaurant. Dishes are crafted using locally sourced ingredients and can be enjoyed with delicious Chilean wines at The Singular Restaurant, all of which are included. Patagonian lamb and hare and South American king crab are particular local delicacies. There’s also El Asador where guests can dine on meats cooked over the open wood grill.
