Architecturally inspired by the wind and waves.
The modern architecture of the Tierra Patagonia is striking, yet it blends seamlessly into the natural environment of the dramatic Torres del Paine National Park. Set back from the shore of Lake Sarmiento, this beautiful hotel provides breath-taking views of the parks' famous peaks, Lago Sarmiento and the windswept Chilean landscapes.
It’s all about getting out and exploring the wilds of the National Park, and with a wide range of included excursions you can fully embrace the adventurous ethos the Tierra brand stands for. A selection of multi-night packages are available and you can choose the excursions that suit your tastes and interests. Explore the wilderness either on foot, horseback, bicycle or 4x4 vehicle before returning to your luxury wilderness lodge and unwinding at the Uma spa where a selection of massage therapies, facial treatments and bath rituals is available. In the charming dining room you can enjoy simple, yet delectable cuisine which includes seafood that’s sourced from the Straits of Magellan and Beagle Channel, and lamb and beef from the local estancias alongside a range of vegetarian options.
There are just 40 rooms and suites at the Tierra Patagonia, giving the property a rather exclusive feel. Each of the rooms overlooks the Patagonian landscapes through large picture windows and they provide a real sense of place with locally-crafted furnishings and textiles. The cosy, yet chic Standard Rooms feature a bathtub in the room, allowing you to soak in the tub which soaking up the views. The Superior Rooms overlook the lake and the iconic mountain peaks beyond. We particularly love the split-level suites which feature a peaceful and cosy living room on the mezzanine floor.
Close to the entrance of Torres del Paine National Park, approximately one hour from Puerto Natales and four hours from Punta Arenas.
