I am not a camper. I LOVED Patagonia Camp.It was so much fun. Going to sleep and looking at the bright stars. One night it rained a little. I was disappointed that the rain stopped because the sounds hitting the yurt was great.
Loved this spot
We stayed here for some hiking in the Park and absolutely loved the property and the team. Susan as the manager was spectacularly good: attentive to every detail and made us feel at home immediately. She is a star. Our guides were great, and food and service were over the top excellent. Tons of fresh salads and veggies, as well as the standard fare for the region. Great wines and one of the best pisco sours we’ve had. Service was excellent and Jorge, Javier and Pamela made the dining experience exceptional. We really enjoyed the other guests here as well. It’s a small lodge feel and very friendly, but we could make the day our own schedule. Of course the highlight there is the Park: Mirador Las Torres and French Valley esp. The yurt is glamping but had a crazy comfy bed, and we especially enjoyed the private hot tub and the sounds of the really wild Patagonia weather all night as we slept. Pauline and Camilla at the front were wonderful as well. Thanks team!
My husband and I recently stayed at Patagonia Camp and had an amazing time. The service from everyone (waitresses, general staff, hiking guides) was exceptional. We loved that everything was eco friendly and that they have a variety of options on their menus (including gluten free and vegan options). The camp itself was beautiful and they had plenty of excursions to choose from. We hope to be back some time in future. I highly recommend Patagonia Camp!
A wonderful experience
This was a great all inclusive experience. Some might call it "glamping" given that the accommodations are yurts. The yurts are quite luxurious, and the entire facility is in a breathtaking location. Food and wine were top notch. Activities/expeditions are offered by guides from the camp. We found them excellent. However, be aware that some of the offered hikes take place outside Torres del Paine park. Also, be sure to ask questions about what hikes cover what part of the park. Most of our group missed seeing the famous three pink granite spires in the park because it was not clear to them that none of the hikes they chose would take them to places where those spires were visible. So if there is something in the park you are eager to see, be sure to get clarity about what activities/hikes you should take to see those things. Do not assume that the lead guide will give you that information!
Wonderful staff and well equipped yurts. Waking up to the views was amazing. Daily trips well organised. If you don’t like a lot of steps then ask for a yurt close to the dining area and reception. Yurts 15 and 19 that we and friends occupied were right at the bottom - superb views but were quite a way to get to.
