Beautiful hotel with excellent service

This hotel is highly recommended! Not only was it clean, the staff were amazing. To begin, I made a mistake and double booked the reservation - they fixed it immediately and without issue. On a day trip, I lost my wallet, I rang and asked them to check the room with specific instructions- they did so and located it and kept it safely for my return. The transport was top notch. We were able to have a late checkout with no problem. Food and restaurant was amazing. The pool was beautiful and because of the time of year almost abandoned. Breakfast was excellent! And included! I know that a lot of people would not typically choose La Paz as a holiday destination but if you do and like luxury hotels, this is a must!

Excellent the best

Very nice hotel, clean personnel very polite professional, restaurant very good quality of food excellent as well as the breakfast. Pool, gym and jacuzzi very nice comfortable clean with everything available. Located in areas sud is lower point of the city better for breathing. I will be back

Top notch experience

After a week through the rough desert and salar de Uyuni, arriving at the Casa Grande was definitely a welcome indulgence. The hotel accommodations, rooms, public areas, etc. are 5 stars which lead to a great experience. For instance, the detail of leaving three different types of bed pillows is something you'd expect at the Ritz! My only regret is not having enough time (we stayed for only a night) to dip in the indoor pool that looked enticing... No contest, this is a great option to stay in La Paz, you won't miss home...

Excellent

We stayed here for one night only but had a great room on 7th floor. We ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant and had possibly the best food in over two weeks of travelling in both Peru and Bolivia. There is also a nice café and/or ice cream parlour just outside the front entrance where (being English) enjoyed a good cup of tea! We don't intend to go back to La Paz but would highly recommend this hotel if you are travelling there.

Great Location in Calacoto; convenient for business and family

Staff was most accommodating to us as we arrived at 4am on a flight from the US. Room was comfortable, restaurant has a wonderful breakfast service and Sunday brunch is also excellent. We used the first days of our time in La Paz to acclimate to the altitude, and we enjoyed our time at the hotel. Decor is very modern; impeccably clean. I'd heartily recommend it.
