Great hotel, on a recent visit we stayed in the manor house and the queen Victoria, awesome staff, we were really looked after by staff and management. Gorgeous rooms, we won’t hesitate to stay again.
Excellent hotel a super base for our South African holiday
The location was ideal close to the Waterfront the social and restaurant centre for Cape Town. The room was outstanding, spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities expected from a hotel of this grade. The breakfast was a delight with a wide range of cooked options prepared while you wait in addition to the buffet. The staff were most attentive with a ready smile, interest in your stay and above all nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience Is highly recommended.
Luxurious boutique hotel
We stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful stay. Having stayed in many five star hotels, this one certainly was up there with one of the best as it maintained character and charm. The staff were super friendly and really helpful. The room was equipped with everything you could possibly need, including rituals toiletries. Our favorite part of the stay was the breakfast, everything fresh and high quality- we loved being able to order off the menu alongside a buffet. The location is also fantastic, just a short stroll from the waterfront. Would highly recommend staying here!
Excellent Stay, Highly Recommend!!
I've stayed at many hotels around the world but my stay at Queen Victoria hotel was by far the best. When you arrive your luggage is taken and put to the side, you're invited to take a seat at the check-in desk where they offer you a hot towel and an ice-cold punch. The staff are incredibly friendly, I felt as if I was an old friend returning, however, this was my first visit. The rooms are absolutely charming and well decorated, the bed is very comfortable and the linens are luxurious, my favorite was the fresh macaroons and a personalized welcome note on the desk. The breakfast was delicious, they don't make them every day but if they have them you must try their cronut covered in dark chocolate...it's an experience all on it's own. I only stayed two nights at the end of my trip to SA but I wish I had stayed longer, I will most definitely return when I go back. Highly recommended!

We cannot day enough about this beautiful small luxury hotel. The hotel had some of the most amazing staff we have ever encountered. Their friendliness, caring and hospitality was very special. We felt very pampered. They went out of their way. I celebrated a very special birthday here and when we came down the elevator to dinner the pianist was playing and singing “ Happy Birthday” We absolutely loved the breakfasts and the service was wonderful. We really loved just enjoying it and taking our time. Really got spoiled by those great cappuccino every morning. We were here for five days. The last day was our only chance to visit Table Mtn. The winds had been to high earlier in the week. When we came back from breakfast the staff had already checked to see if they we’re running the tram to the top. “ We said let’s do it” they got us our tickets called the cab and we were off to experience absolutely fantastic views. It’s not everyday or every that you hug the staff (waitress, doorman and the manager) when you leave. We definitely plan to return to this beautiful hotel. It was special.
