Situated only 75km from Geneva at the heart of the immense Portes du Soleil ski area, Morzine is a picturesque, traditional Savoyard town exuding charm and character.

Set in the stunning valleys of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine offers easy access to this vast ski area, which encompasses 12 resorts and offers an abundance of terrain for all levels. The town has many restaurants and bars, providing the perfect retreat for indulging in a spot of après-ski, and a range of other activities for those who still have the energy!

If you’re looking for an area where you can ski new runs every day of your trip, the Portes du Soleil is ideal, with 600km of pistes linking 14 villages either side of the French-Swiss border. Pleney is the main local mountain, with a broad plateau that is ideal for beginners. Intermediate and advanced skiers can head up towards Avoriaz for wide-open cruising or challenging terrain such as the infamous World Cup run from Hauts Forts to Les Prodains and the Swiss Wall at Chavanette.
