Perched high in the Tarentaise Valley, Les Arcs is a snow-sure resort, boasting a huge ski area of 425km, and is suitable for all abilities.
The Paradiski lift links the ski area to La Plagne, making it one of the largest ski domains in Europe and reenforcing Les Arcs’ position as the number one choice for many skiers. Arc 1800 is popular with its lively après-ski scene, whilst Arc 1950 and 2000 offer a more relaxed pace, with a superior standard of accommodation and excellent hotel-style facilities, ideal for families.
The spacious beginner slopes are easily accessible from each village, providing a safe area in which to learn. For the leisurely skier, there are plenty of long cruisy blue runs to choose from, whilst more confident skiers will find challenging reds and blacks as well as excellent off-piste slopes to explore. Often described as the ‘home of snowboarding’, Les Arcs is an excellent choice for those wanting to try boarding or hone their skills in the terrain parks.
