Flaine ski holidays
GRAND MASSIF • FRANCE
Nestling in the largest ski bowl in the Grand Massif, one of France’s largest ski areas, Flaine is renowned for its excellent ski conditions and snow record.
This high altitude, compact, purpose-built resort provides easy access to the 265km of pistes within the Grand Massif, as well as its range of local amenities. Traffic free and offering excellent nursery slopes and children’s facilities, Flaine is one of the most user friendly, family orientated resorts in the Alps, whilst intermediates can explore the endless terrain from well groomed blues and reds, to harder blacks and mogul fields. For advanced skiers there are some exhilarating runs, such as the Diamant Noir or the off-piste runs through the Grandes Platières.
Only one and a half hours from Geneva, it is one of Ski Independence's most popular resorts, particularly with families and those looking for a snow-sure short break. There are plenty of activities off the slopes too, including bowling, a cinema and indoor climbing wall.
