Huge property and amazing beaches
We booked that property coming from Constance Lemuria, didn't know exactly what to expect. First is that the property is massive. And there are a lot more people so the service is more impersonal, yet is almost always of very high standard. it's amazing they manage to make this propert work almost smoothly considering the number of guests, and it can only reflect the great work of the management to make this run smoothly, I really wouldnt want their job. We saw quite a few rude guests, it must be really tiresome to deal with such customers. Anyway, the place offers everything you can imagine. there are at least five pools, an awesome gym (bike rental not free for suite guests unfortunately...) , an area for the giant turtle (poor turtles are located next to the bar, I dont know if it affects their sleep ?) , a crazy amount of beaches including at least three hidden beaches (you can explore to find them) with basically no one at all there. So we spent most of our time on these empty beaches, inclding the one near the presidential villa, and did a great hike in the forest to the Ros Lepa view point. The restaurants are of very high quality considering the number of guests they service. The main one Corrosol is quite busy, but they make it work rather smoothly. Indian buffet was a hit. I just didnt like the Asian restaurant, probably good "asian" food for western palate but it lacks something for people living in Asia, food was a bit bland and too salty. The breakfast suffers for a lot of birds trying to eat your food, which is not super pleasant. we stayed a bit long in this hotel (7 nights) so it was a bit tiring at some point as food is always the same on the morning. probbaly fine if you stay just 3-4 nights. surprisilingly the room design is better than Lemuria, but unfortunately you have to pay for additional coffee. Maybe it's because there are too many guests, but it still feels stingy considering the price paid. So my conclusion is : positive: The beach are the most beautiful I ever saw, and some are hidden secrets the gym some restaurant are really good (all of them except adam and even) great staff service negative pay for coffee in the room service unpersonal due to lots of people I defintely see me & my better half coming back there. I put more photo of the surroundings because it's the main reason for me to go back there. It's really beautiful.
Mini holiday with my daughter, travelling from Dubai
My daughter and I traveled in January. We arrived in Seychelles on an extremely hot and sunny day. We decided to rent a car and drive to our hotel. Quite a horrific experience. The roads were very narrow and winding, and it seems it took us forever to get to our destination. The hotel was quite far from the airport and remotely located. Our originally booked suite involved stairs, so we asked to be re-located since climbing so many stairs would be impossible for me. Waiting in the lobby was exhausting, but well worth the wait. Our new room was within walking distance of the beach and perfect. The food was excellent, with an amazing variety of options. The one recommendation that I would make is to make sure that you bring a first aid kit. And try not to get sick. Never did get the service we requested. Emergencies are out of the question. Seychelles is definitely an amazing island well worth the visit.
Would Definitely Visit Again
I enjoyed my stay at Constance Ephelia very much. The food was constantly at a good standard and the Accommodation was simple, clean and nicely decorated. The resort has many types of accommodation meaning that it is easy to find something in your price range. Furthermore all of the amenities (Spa, fitness centre etc) are all at high standards. Also, the resort has made travelling around very simple with a buggy shuttle service that is all around the resort. Every member of the team at Constance Ephelia is very friendly and eager to make your stay a pleasant one!- Special Mention to Jawadu Bwanali from the Team at Constance Ephelia for being an absolute legend and taking me everywhere to film the resort- I can't link the video here as it goes against the guidelines!
Just home from the most wonderful holiday. Thankyou to all the staff especially Apu for making our holiday perfect! Amid the current Coronavirus disruption worldwide, we felt completely safe, with professionalism at its best. We have been to many luxury hotels across the world and this is one of the best. Beautiful location, we loved the peaceful south beach, excellent food, the buffet is just fabulous, and the suite we had with it’s own pool was just exquisite! I wouldn’t believe negative reviews as this is understably due to an unpresidented event that is happening world over. Sad that people only comment on any negatives when the positives far out way them! Thanks again team. You do an amazing job.
An unfortunate stay
We had a 3 nights stay booked at Constance for March 2020 and it was unfortunately not the best time to be traveling. We were booked on Half Board but during check in their system was showing it as Bed & Breakfast rate only. Luckily we had an email to prove the correct booking and it still took them almost 30 mins at check in to verify this. Additionally, we were only notified about the closure of SPA treatments at the time of inquiry while they could have given prior notice. As we had to travel back to home only after spending one night there, Mr. Vijay from the front office offered us a refund of one night and assured us that we would have an email next morning as their systems were down. It has been 5 days and 2 follow up emails with no response from anyone in their team. It does not help guests when the staff are panicking all around them and cannot get even a airport transfer booking right Be ready to have a long wait for the shuttle service to take you from and to the room. The only staff that had high level of customer service were the ones at Kids Club. Hopefully they can turn their service levels around and use this experience from the pandemic for improving service levels in the future.
