Prime holiday locations and more affordability in Kuoni’s latest Italian collection
A total of six new hotels across Venice, Rome, the Lakes and Puglia have been added to Kuoni’s latest Italy programme for departures until December 2020.
Puglia has been seeing the largest growth for Kuoni in 2020 with Neapolitan Riviera, Ischia, Capri, the Lakes and Sardinia remaining firm favourites with customers.
Angelo D’Avino, Product & Purchasing Manager for Italy said. “We have added some real gems to our Italy programme hand picking hotels with the best views in prime locations in their region or city. We have added more affordable options in the four-star range and focused on the trending Puglia, which is lesser visited with its deserted beaches, unspoilt villages and Greek and Roman ruins.”
The collection also offers tips for exploring Tuscany independently by car, as well as featuring Small Escorted Group Tours in Sicily, Sardinia and Tuscany for those who prefer to travel with like-minded others.
Set in a beautiful reserve and featuring one of Italy’s largest spas, the Kalidria Hotel & Thalasso Spa by the Ionian Sea, Puglia has over a mile of sandy beach, advanced thalassotherapy facilities including heated seawater pool and skin therapies as well as family friendly experiences.
An Apulian cooking class and olive oil tasting session are part of the experiences at the Masseria Il Melograno hotel, a 400-year-old converted farm house in Monopoli, Puglia. It is in a convenient location for day trips to Monopoli or UNESCO World Heritage Site, Alberobello with the famous trulli houses.
Four-star Hotel Art by the Spanish steps in Rome sits quietly on the historical Via Margutta, which is renowned for workshops, galleries and antique shops. Just a short stroll to the famous Spanish Steps and the People’s Square it is a great base for exploring the city and does an excellent breakfast.
