Great hotel, fantastic location & view on the Atlantic ocean
Very good & beautiful hotel, at fantastic location: the view over the ocean is super! Not all rooms have sea view, yet many do. Very large suites are available too. Can be used for a romantic weekend of for business: they also have many business rooms: small and large ones; been there several times with a conference where the main room and break-out rooms are neatly close to each other.
Spent Christmas here, before going to the Algarve for the New Year. Had a few really rough see day but, the hotel, staff and food were all superb. The Manager and his staff were extremely hospitable. Loved the restaurant, with well thought out and presented dishes! It has become our favourite in Cascais! Thank you all!
Second to none. Fantastic service and beautiful hotel with amazing atmosphere
We visited the hotel for one week and we are so happy because we know we will be back soon. This is for sure a hotel/holiday you do not want to leave even to go home. For one week every person we meet from the staff was smiling and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful, the room is big, clean and nice with a very beautiful bathroom. The bar, the garden and all the small sittings areas are with great atmosphere. Just love this place. The hotel is a short walk along the Marina from the center of Cascais.
Simply the best
Where to begin. Quiet simply the best Hotel we have ever stayed in. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the level of service was amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. They go way above any expectations you might have. Congragulations to Jaou ( forgive any misspelling) and your wonderful team. The most relaxing stay we ever had. The hotel, the food, the service all perfection. We met so many wonderful people there. A special thank you to Philipa and her wonderful team at breakfast especially Sylvia who remembered what drinks we had from the previous morning. Thanks to Jose for the amazing Sangria. Thanks to Trilock and the all the other staff for looking after us so well. We can' t wait to come back again next year. Peter and Rosie
In great need for improvement
This is a lovely hotel in a lovely setting and credited as LHW. However the bad first impression, was the front desk treatment and zero management hospitality .... which is very important for a hotel, specially for a LHW5* hotel. Booked a "DeLuxe Seaview", at the check-inn we were informed that our booking was a Gardenview, we presented the reservation confirmation w/ the Seaview and informed that we specifically paid for a room w/Sea View. The lady went to speak with her manager, who came w/ the attitude that he will need to corfirm the room. (hellooo?!?!?! …. we gave them the print-out w/confirmation DeLuxeRoom – Seaview). While we had to wait for them to clear their problem, we were sent to wait in the bar, no apologies or any kind of attention were offered. We were left w/ the feeling that they didn´t believe us . After a while we were taken to a room w/parcial seaview , and we were informed that they could let us stay there, but they will still need to check the reservation w/ the travel agent. Just amazing... far from a LHW guest experience!!! You do not expect this type of attitude from a 5 star hotel. Our room was in need of maintenance and the cleaning was poor, the pictures speak for themselves. No need to comment on the carpet condition. Sub standard, more a 3 star for service and cleanliness. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection and good quality. Would never consider staying here again and will not recommend this hotel.
