Superb Hotel in a nice area of Lima
We stayed our last night in Peru in this hotel and we really enjoyed the experience. We arrived in the early afternoon at the end of October and found a delicious chocolate cake in the room to celebrate my birthday which had been one or two days earlier. The hotel is a five minute walk Larcomar shopping centre which has a vast selection of high end shops, cafes and restaurants. It overlooks the ocean which actually is not as good as it sounds since there is almost nobody on the beach below. The staff were charming and very helpful in dealing with our queries. The breakfasts offered a good choice of foods and the WiFi was excellent. We found the swimming pool to be a bit exposed and not very inviting. However overall the Belmond Miraflores was probably the best hotel we stayed at in the whole of Peru.
Best of the Best
To me this is the best hotel in Lima. They treat you so well. I love Marriott but this is better. The front desk and concierge staff are always trying to please. They recognized our birthdays without us telling them and sent cakes and cards. We loved the pisco sour demonstration. Everyone is treated as a VIP. Rooftop Infiniti pool is heated with spa next door. Walking distance to beautiful Larcomar mall.
Special hotel in expensive Miraflores district. Wonderful views. Peaceful bar. Rooms are updated/traditional/modern. Restaurant has amazing modern Peruvian art. Outdoor dining pro lay doesn’t work in rainy season. Nor does small swimming pool. Can’t wait to return😀
Nice view and located in the best part of Lima
We stayed here for only one night in transit for or Peru trip. The Belmond is sited in a great location with attractive ocean views from many rooms and a nice park out front. We felt very safe staying here unlike a lot of Lima!
We stayed at the Belmond Miraflores as the end of a two week adventure in Galapagos Islands and the Incan ruins in Peru. Our last night we stopped by the Belo Bar in the hotel and was impeccably served by Brethel, Allan, Alejandro and Pat. We spend time speaking the Alejandro about his country and the wonderful people we met. The service in this and the other hotels we spent time in is the kind we do not experience in the US. And the people are so kind and hospitable. If you have not considered Peru, put this beautiful country on your list.
