A lovely hotel with great staff!
We have just spent three very enjoyable days at this marvellous hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were a pleasure to get to know with my broken Spanish language skills. Being located away from the Plaza de Armas is in my opinion a benefit because it can be very noisy at times. By contrast the hotel is next to a park, has its own grounds so is a lot quieter. You also benefit from the lovely pool, see photos attached. We ate in the restaurant too, the food was lovely. I was actually ill before we arrived and nothing was too much trouble for the restaurant staff to make meva soup, not on the menu to make me feel better. When we return to Arequipa we will definitely use this hotel again. I would highly recommend it.
Very Nice Hotel close to square
Stayed here for two nights between Nazca and Puno. Very nice, secure facility a few blocks from restaurants and tourists sites in Arequipa. Caution was given by many people here that at night take a taxi from the hotel and have the restaurant call a taxi back . We walked it back one night and it ok but a poor decision. The hotel grounds were well maintained and the hotel was clean. We had a jr suite and there was plenty of room, bathroom was large and everything worked properly. Only complaint is that the tv, that had many stations, it would have been nice if one entertainment station was in English. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pool was beautiful. A good choice
We loved our stay in this hotel. It's in a safe and calm area, the service is great, the breakfast was amazing and the decor really nice. In the garden there are even Alpacas and a Galapagos Turtle. The pool is big (bit cold doh). The gym could be better equipped (more mats). But for the price we paid we really can't complain!
Beautiful hotel, large rooms, comfy beds, lovely service I missed my plane I called them the night before and they cancelled a night without charging ! So lovely. Welcome biscuits, chocolate at night Close walk to main square restaurants cafes Beautiful pool and good breakfast Lovely grounds
A very nice stay for one night only (sadly)
Flew from Lima on the way to Chivay. The hotel is situated a short distance from the centre. It's not too long a walk to the centre for the sites. We felt perfectly safe, although as always common sense applies. On arrival check in was very straight forward. Our room was large with a sitting room with TV, a large bathroom with a shower/bath. A reasonably large bedroom. There was also a small balcony which overlooked the gardens and then over the road to a small park. Although by a road there was not an issue with traffic noise that we noticed. The room was on the first floor and we did not notice a lift but there may be one, although it may be a service lift. In which case you may want assistance with cases when you leave. (or be better at spotting lifts than we were) Outside there is a seating area near the pool with large sunshades were we had a nice snack lunch. There are a small number of sun loungers by the pool. In the evening drinks in the bar which was quite at the time. There were TVs in the bar which, as in a lot of South American hotels, had football (soccer as some call it). However it was not loud or caused a disturbance to those not interested. Dinner in the restaurant was good. Plenty of choice with as you would expect a strong South American influence. I think the choice should cover all tastes. The next morning was a buffet breakfast with a large choice. We found the staff accommodating and pleasant which always adds to the experience.
