Was such a great weekend spent at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar we’ve been there for Global Wellness Day which was unforgettable experience for me. Special thanks to Maren the resort GM and her welcoming and nice team members. Too I’d like to thank Mohamed Bella Vista’s Restaurant Manager for his unique attitude and as well hospitality.
Paradise in Oman ( heaven on earth)
Stayed here for 2 nights and 3 day. Everything about this place is perfect, The view, the food (breakfast dinner), restaurants, the staff(so so helpful), i reckon taking hiking and 3 village tour. My room was next to the diana’s point i couldnt take my eyes of the view. The sunset next to the pool is mesmerizing. Its worth the spending.. will definitely come back again…if you are driving make sure your car is 4*4. If you are going to Oman this hotel is a must go place.

Outstanding and unique resort, well worth a trip to Oman for a stay
I spent three nights at the resort and cannot recommend it highly enough. The resort provides (for a fee) a transfer directly from Muscat airport which was comfortable, professional and provides a fascinating view of the mountains. I was upgraded to a Deluxe room and allowed a late checkout based on my departure time with ease. The room provides an exquisite westward facing view allowing one a sunset view from the comfort of your own room. The facilities were all professionally maintained, with every staff member making it a point to proactively ensure that my stay was comfortable. The highlight of the trip was the Three Village Walk tour which allowed for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Mahar, the guide, was outstanding, and provided an insight on village life that I don’t think I could have received otherwise. I really must thank him for his gentleness, helpfulness, insight and genuine enthusiasm for the area he grew up in, and I would say even if no other activity is done, please make sure you do this one as those villages are beautiful. (Do note, some of the steps taken will be steep and narrow, so make sure your fitness levels are were they should be, especially as mountain air takes a bit of getting used to.) Food selection was good, particularly the breakfast. Unfortunately one of the restaurants was closed, so the range of options was a bit limited, but I am sure once opened the quality would be fantastic. The room was beautiful and tastefully maintained (I am seriously considering purchasing similar furnishings for home). At first, there was a bit of a strange smell from the shower that was quickly managed after a quick cleanup from a staff member (which itself was a testament to the high degree of professionalism from the staff). The infinity pool providing a view of the mountains is probably the most unique hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’d also like to thank Mahesh, Rhoda, Vish, and countless other staff members who made the stay memorable (I regret not remembering more names, as everyone was outstanding, including the very friendly musicians at the Bella Vista restaurant). I have travelled to many places in the world and have stayed in many hotels and resorts of the same caliber and I am truly impressed at the level with which every staff member seemed to enjoy their jobs. I have also been to other hotels during relatively low seasons where the standards have not always been up to par, but I was consistently impressed at the level of professionalism that everyone maintained in ensuring guest stays were pleasurable. I can’t write about every small gesture and step made by staff (it would just take too long!), but rest assured if you want a location for families and single people alike, this is it. It made my first visit to Oman a happy one, and I look forward to coming to this wonderful country again, and has even inspired me to take a look at other locations from Anantara as well.
