Let us whisk you away to the wildlife-rich plains of Kenya during the best time to see the Great Wildebeest Migration. As the world finally opens up, now’s the time to book an unforgettable bucket-list experience – and our offer of the week can take you there for less.

This is a superb price for a small group safari that puts you at the heart of the migration, when over a million stampeding wildebeest, zebra and antelope journey across the Maasai Mara in search of water and fresh grass.

No matter how many wildlife documentaries you’ve seen, nothing can prepare you for the real thing; the pounding hooves, clouds of dust and animals roaming freely across the savannah as far as you can see. August is also typically the best time to see a dramatic river crossing, where strong currents and crocodiles lie in wait as the wildebeest leap into the river.

After a relaxing overnight stay at the Eka Hotel in Nairobi, you’ll head off in a 4x4 vehicle towards Lake Nakuru National Park in the Rift Valley. Your home for the next two nights is the chalet-style Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, located on the shores of the lake for stunning views and top wildlife viewing. You’ll have plenty of time here to explore the national park, which provides habitat for lion, leopard, buffalo and Rothschild giraffe, as well as white rhino and the endangered black rhino.

It’s then on to the world-famous Maasai Mara, where you’ll stay at Mara Engai Lodge. You can’t get much closer to the Big Five action than at this boutique tented camp. It’s hidden high in a forest wilderness with jaw-dropping views over the Mara Triangle and Great Wildebeest Migration route. The Mara Triangle offers a less-crowded wildlife-viewing experience as it’s separated from the rest of the reserve by the Mara River, and the lodge even has exclusive access into the Mara via its own private road. Spend your days exploring the Mara on thrilling game drives with your expert guide, keeping an eye out for lions snoozing in the shade or a leopard skulking through the grass, then fall asleep under canvas to the sounds of the wild.

This one-of-a-kind offer won’t be around for long, so talk to us today.
