What to expect
Day 1 UK to Vancouver, Canada Depart the UK on your flight to Vancouver and on arrival, transfer to the Fairmont Waterfront for a one-night stay.
Day 2 Vancouver to Campbell River, Canada Travel to Campbell River on Vancouver Island where you will spend one night at the Comfort Inn & Suites.
Days 3-4 Campbell River to Knight Inlet Lodge, Canada Transfer to the floatplane base and depart on a 30-minute flight to the mouth of the Glendale River, home of the Knight Inlet Lodge, where you will spend two nights. The 26-guest lodge floats on large cedar log booms and has rustic, yet luxurious rooms. Enjoy a range of included excursions such as bear-viewing tours, a Knight Inlet sightseeing cruise and a hike through the Kwalate River Valley. In the evenings, relax in the lounge while watching an interpretive presentation by one of the guides.
Day 5 Knight Inlet Lodge to Vancouver, Canada This morning, take the opportunity to go on a final bear viewing excursion before your return floatplane flight to Campbell River (approx. 10am). Return to Vancouver where you’ll stay a further night at the Fairmont Waterfront. Western Canada’s most famous city has a spectacular backdrop, chic neighbourhoods and unbeatable outdoor spaces such as Stanley Park and Granville Island.
