Vacation to Placencia Beliz and The Turtle Inn
Traveling to Beliz was a wonderful Experience made more substantial by My stay at Turtle Inn. The Beach Ambiance and Bali Style Accommodations made You feel Like You could have been in Bali with Serene and Aqua Blue Waters of the Caribbean. The Food, Service and Outdoor Beach Bar made Memorable times sharing ideas and stories with Other Friendly an Interesting Visitors. I guess what else would expect when staying in a resort owned bye the Coppola Family. Chef and Fresh Garden to Table Cooking was Fabulous. Location to Airport and Downtown Placencia was ideal for getting out to Explore the sights and Great shops, dining and Local activities with the Ability to return to the Privacy of the Relaxing Resort with all the Amenities to Enjoy. Great Place to unwind.
Honeymoon to remember!
My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Blancaneaux Lodge before heading to Turtle Inn for the remainder of our honeymoon. We had a fabolous time at both locations! Tutle Inn was eveyrthing I thought it would be and more! Our cabana was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food and wine were fabolous! We took a snorkleing excursion one day and that was well worth our time getting out there to the island. The crew docked and we snorkeled for about an hour. When finished the crew prepared a delicious and very filling lunch and my husband and I enjoyed a bottle of wine overlooking the incredible ocean. After lunch we went to another spot and snorkeled where we saw nurse sharks and turtles. It was amazing! I would highly recommend this place for a honeymoon, anniversiary, or a regular vacation. We will come back when we can it truly was a trip to remember!
TL:WR the Turtle Inn is incredible! My wife and I recently returned from the trip of a lifetime, courtesy of the Turtle Inn. As soon as we arrived we were blown away from their never-ending hospitality; initially involving a welcome cocktail, brief overview of the property and a tour of the immaculate grounds. We were also fortunate enough to stumble across the small onside garden/farm early on in our stay, and were graciously given an insightful tour inclusive of all sorts of edible delights! We then continued to enjoy their fresh, home-grown produce throughout the rest of our stay during our fantastic meals at Mare (the main restaurant). Our weeks stay involved numerous activities and adventures including two-days of learning to dive with Bernard (who was incredibly patient and helpful despite a personal battle with motion sickness), snorkeling, sailing (using the Turtle Inn’s beach catamaran), monkey-river adventure, sunset-cruise and several trips into the nearby village. While each excursion was uniquely impressive, our daily welcome back to the resort was virtually comparable. Each day our return to the resort somehow coincided perfectly with happy hour at the beach bar, where Rod and Silvano rustled up never-ending concoctions of the tastiest fruit-infused cocktails paired with local Belizean rum. Regardless of how busy they were, they were always eager to hear about your day and engage in genuine, friendly conversation (something of a rarity here back home!). Equally impressive were the beach team of Ylnan, Javier, Luis and Bamboo who provided us with all sorts of beach games, activities and equipment throughout our stay. It was a pleasure to get to know each and everyone of them. In the evening we dined at all three of the resorts restaurants (local flavors at the Gaugain Grill and Auntie Luba’s, where the food was homely and enjoyable). We personally preferred the superior quality of The Mare restaurant, where each meal was a true delight. Shout-out to Suzie and Jesse for being two of the friendliest waiters we have encountered. We also have to mention Javier (the resorts host/concierge) who would personally ‘check-in’ with us and provide a level of service that was truly exceptional. He is also one of the kindest people that we have met and greeted us as if we were long-time friends every time we crossed paths. As our week drew to an end we were truly sad to be leaving. We had quickly grown to love the setting, resort and community - we are now already planning our return. Thank you for everything! Ed & Ellen
Great resort! The staff is incredible and led by an exceptional manager, Martin. All of the food, drink and accommodations were first class. We are planning a trip back to Turtle Inn in the near future. Great restaurants in the nearby village also. Ted and Hillery
Wonderful stay at Turtle Inn
We spent 6 nights at Turtle Inn--it is a magical spot with exceptional staff. Everyone was so dedicated and accommodating. From the concierge who delightfully planned our excursions and adventures, to the dining and beach staff who learned all of our names and really showed pride in their work and culture. We had a wonderful day snorkeling and diving with the super professional and lovely dive shop team. Missing my "shell-phone"...a large conch cell phone system to call the front desk for morning coffee! Food and dining was exceptional. Super memorable trip and special time at Turtle Inn! Hope to return in the future!
