Week stay

Nice comfortable bed. Lighting in room was poor. Good wifi. Parking not always readily available meaning I had to go out and into casino car park. Range of dining options available with varying opening hours which was handy.

Took a discounted winter special after the Covid19 lockdown, Unable to fault the hotel or staff, good attention to sanitisation. Great central location with the Casino but still very quiet. Ample parking and lots of attractions / food options within walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed our "old peoples" escape.

Would recommend this hotel ..

Stayed here overnight and the rooms were toasty warm (sleet and rain outside) and nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. It’s ideally situated in the centre of town in walking distance to some nice little restaurants. Receptionists were efficient and very pleasant- took the time to ask how our stay had been and have a chat. Used the parking on site option which was a good move considering the weather! That all worked very well. Would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Dunedin.

Not Very Happy

Well first up the room was fine. However we walked through to the Casino and had a meal in the restaurant down stairs. Came back to it later after visiting the casino and had a hot chocolate. Within minutes my wife was feeling unwell with stomach cramps. We left and returned to our room where she was very unwell for the next few hours. Around midnight I began to feel unwell and went to the bathroom and to be sick. So sadly we won't be returning to this hotel in future.

Lovely hotel

Nice hotel close to Octagon. Friendly staff and easy parking. Good size room and comfy beds. A bit disappointed with breakfast at cafe downstairs, was cold and took a long time to come. Our room was upgraded on arrival, great service
