Best NZ Hotel I have stayed in

We were impressed with everything in this Hotel. It was the old Post Office building and housed Government departments as well. It has been renovated while retaining the old look and majesty of the building on the outside, with the warmth and feel of a stately Hotel on the inner. Our room was a generous size with two large sitting chairs and a round table in between. Ample room and space for both our bags. The bed was large and very comfortable. Fantastic tiled shower walk in, walk out with a press button start and finish. The added facility of a washing machine and dryer was a big bonus for travellers away from home for longer periods. The dining room very comfortable and the food good. Definitely stay here again.

Great hotel in Dunedin

First time staying here and we were really impressed. We will definitely come back and stay. Great location and very cool building. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable and it was quiet - something that is super important to us. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

Great overnight stay

Booked last minute and decided to upgrade so we could have a bath, and what a bath it was! Excellent room with good facilities, apart from only one cup and two tea bags! Very good meal in the restaurant too.

Quality four and a half star offering

A bunch of us recently stayed here for a family member's graduation and were more than happy with the all-round package. Sensible, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good bathrooms, a sensible bar and restaurant, great location, and friendly and efficient staff. Nice to see an old building refurbished in a modern but sympathetic style. Would be good for business trips and tourists as well as large groups like ours.

Best hotel!

Flawless in every way! I really cannot fault anything about this great hotel! Excellent rooms with plenty of space and a walk-in, push-button shower, well appointed facilities, clean, great décor - tasteful, understated and elegant - really professional, friendly and personable staff - every single person in every department was superb - and we had a great dinner in the restaurant with excellent food and impeccable service. I really cannot say anything more superlative! The hotel's location is also central to everything.
