Never lets you down. Ever.
Wish I could live here. Customer service was of a high level and was consistently superb throughout our stay. Surely this is a reflection of the great team culture and leadership of the Cordis organisation.
Perfect as always
Great Valet, bedroom , comfortable beds , immaculately clean, bath , shower, tea , coffee, Club Lounge and floor 10 wonderful , very relaxing pool and spa ( even though it was busy ). Great breakfast with many choices.
Relaxing, Wellness and Indulgent
We would highly recommend staying at the Cordis Hotel. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming doorman. Check-in was efficient. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Being able to soak in bath tub was a bonus. Food and coffee in the Eight restaurant was high quality and there was plenty to choose from. High Tea in the Chandelier Lounge was fabulous! The staff were very friendly and accommodated all of our requests. We will definitely go back.
Lost it’s Shine
Since rebranded a few years ago to Cordis this hotel has gone downhill. Been loyal for 10 years but have seen decline in standards. Blatantly obvious that Management are more concerned about $ rather than service...lovely staff are being overworked and numbers scarce. More like faulty towers, doubt we will be going back even with one of their top loyalty memberships that give perks. Instead of being a place we never wanted to leave even just for s few hours, it’s now just an average 4 star hotel...shop around folks!
Not 5 Star So Far - Hope it gets better
Kia ora well my staycation at what is supposed to be 5 star has not started well. Drove in got waved to side by porter no hello. Then young man and woman drove in behind me and porter/concierge went straight to them greeted them asked if they were checking in. Still No hello to me and I drove in first. Got my gear out of car and finally saw another porter/concierge called him over to ask what I needed to do to get car valet sorted. He was helpful. Then got to room thinking about how great it was going to be to have a bath, check it out and there was still hair in the bath from previous guest - so very off putting. Normally stay at Grand or Sky City probably be going back there next time. Not sure there is anything that could redeem the place now.
