What to expect

Booked a five day break through secret escapes for my 30th birthday. The hotel is about 1 hour from Agadir airport, we had a half board package in a junior suite. Going at the end of November meant the hotel was quiet - which we loved. Never any problems getting sun loungers, tables at dinner/lunch/breakfast, lots of solitude - it was great. We did a yoga session one morning which was brilliant. A really relaxing way to start the day with a good teacher. We also did paddle boarding which was good fun. As it was quiet, the bloke said we could use the boards as long as we wanted which was nice. The sea was quite chilly, but not cold enough to stop us wanting to be in it. The junior suite was large, the bed is big, there is a large living room type area in the room and a kitchenette. Our favourite thing about this hotel was the evening meals. Half board means you can eat off a daily evening menu (which changes every night) or pick of the a la carte menu. The food was honestly so good - we were actually surprised at how good the quality was. We also enjoyed the gym which had lots of equipment we did not expect and made it a lot of fun to work out. We had such a relaxing time at the hotel that we really would consider going back. Two things to note for other travelers - the hotel has a lot of cats wondering around wanting food. This might bother some people but did not bother us. The beach is a public beach so there are people selling camel/horse rides and wanting your attention (easily ignored if you are not interested though).
Nice beach, so so resort
We really wanted to love this resort but found ourselves lukewarm about it. Some aspects we liked very much but other things not so much. We were not happy with our original room. It had a very odd smell and we felt it was noisy and insecure literally steps from the pool. We asked to change away from the original ground floor pool front room that we had, we were moved to a more private and quieter room on the second floor. They were happy to do this for us. The room is spacious with a nice kitchenette available. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable with subpar linens. The configuration of the resort is odd in that to access the rooms, you must go around the hotel to get in through the backside through the parking lot etc and in some spots it was not well lit. While the resort is gated and I'm sure very secure, it was a little disconcerting. The internet situation was slow, buggy and inconsistent at best. You have to sign back in each time. We found the dining at this resort to be cramped and noisy. We ate breakfasts there, but all our dinners we ate off the resort and there are many options within easy walking distance. The beach was lovely and spacious with plenty of seating available. There are A LOT of people trying to sell you camel rides etc. on the beach. DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT and they will leave you alone. We did not utilize the pool. It was VERY busy and noisy and being enjoyed by MANY children. The yoga was good and challenging. A bit better than I expected.
Fantastic place to learn to surf and relax for a few days
We spent 5 nights here in November and had a very enjoyable stay. The surfing lessons were great along a nice stretch of beach. We were really impressed with the room which turned out to be more of a suite, with a spacious lounge area and outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. Food was of a good quality and there are also some good options outside if you want a change. Only slight things were the loungers by the pool were a little tired and the outdoor jacuzzi was cold but on the whole very happy with our stay and will be returning!
This place is just perfect
I visited for three nights and could easily have stayed longer. A group of ladies experiencing the spa, surfing, yoga and fitness. All were superb. The food is lovely and the staff are super helpful. I stayed in a Prestige Suite - it was enough for a family of 5/6. All the rooms have ocean views and are very roomy. This is a great wellness break I will definitely be returning with my family. Book well in advance as the school holidays book up very quickly!! Love this place!
Paradis Plage has everything you would need for a perfect break!
Paradis Plage is a place to go and escape reality. The yoga classes are fantastic, the surf lessons are fun and the exercise circuit classes are hard work but very enjoyable! Great selection of restaurants with a wide variety of foods. It feels like a very relaxed place to stay with most rooms overlooking the seafront. The decor is beautiful, a great mix of Moroccan and contemporary. Staff are also incredibly friendly. Excited to book my next visit!
