Restaurants & bars
There is no need to make prior reservations at any of the resort’s seven restaurants, six of which offer à la carte menus, allowing you to make that all important choice when you feel like it – even at the last minute.
The buffet at the main restaurant, World Café, offers an outstanding choice of dishes from all over the world and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An alternative option for a leisurely lunch is the laidback Barefoot Grill which offers light bites, made to order sandwiches and a range of western dishes well into the afternoon.
Dinner options range from Mexican at El Patio and Pan-Asian cuisine – including tepanyaki and sushi dishes – at Himitsu to fresh seafood at the open-air restaurant Seaside Grill and classical Italian dishes at Portofino.
There are two fine dining venues here – the gourmet seafood restaurant Oceana and Bordeaux, where delicious French cuisine is created and served alongside perfectly paired French wines. At Coco Café guests can sip on coffees and other hot drinks throughout the day or order snacks to keep them going until the next meal.
The bars here range from casual daytime spots, such as the pool side bar Barracuda and the swim-up bar Manatees, to entertaining evening venues including the Showtime theatre bar and Desires Music Lounge which is open until late. You can also enjoy pre-dinner drinks at the lobby bar Rendezvous or healthy juices and snacks at the spa bar Revive.
