Restaurants & bars
There is a wide range of dining options at this family-friendly hotel. Eleven restaurants include the central Le Buffet restaurant where, as the name would suggest, an array of international buffet dishes are served at breakfast, lunch and dinner. An alternative choice for both breakfast and lunch is the laidback Beach Club, where you can enjoy ocean views while you eat. Evening meals can be enjoyed at any of the five a la carte venues, all of which are included in the all inclusive package, so be sure to book your table with the resort concierge. Head to the Sonora Grill, where freshly cooked steaks and other meat dishes are served straight off the grill. La Hacienda, which offers Mexican specialities; and Paco’s Tacos offering light dishes in an open air setting until the early hours of the morning. Seafood lovers should reserve a table at El Pescador while fans of Asian dishes, including Thai, Indian, Chinese and Japanese, should spend an evening at D’Oriental. A taste of the Mediterranean can be enjoyed at Los Olivos or at La Piazza pizzeria, while Royal Level guests can choose to dine on a range of international dishes at the exclusive Royal Level Restaurant. If you are feeling peckish throughout the day the El Lago snack bar serves light meals from 11:30am until 4pm. There are also plenty of spots around this extensive resort at which to enjoy a refreshing drink, including the two pool bars Cangrejos and Flamencos, the Lobby Bar, Sports Bar, Beach Bar, Swim-up Bar and the disco bar Palenque.
Alongside a variety of exciting facilities, which include a kids’ club and pool and mini golf course, this hotel’s location next to the Xcaret Eco-park makes it a perfect choice for a family holiday.
