Stunning location all staff are true professionals rooms ,facilities and food deserve a 5* plus rating. Riad our butler deserves special mention for his attention to detail - another week to go Thank you St Regis
Beautiful service and a photoshop to remember
We had a beautiful time on the resort room was very comfortable and well decorated whiteout being overpowering. Staff is so welcoming, Avis our Butler was very helpful all the time! What a service, Pervis one of the waitress on the breakfast was very kind and happy. We would definitely recommend and comeback! Another amazing highlight was to meet Pooja Pompé a photographer who we had a beautiful photo shoot, she made us feel so relaxed and the pictures come out so lovely! This was one of the amazing services that the hotels offers but I would say the right people behind it is what make us enjoy it so much! Location is incredible the le morne is one the nicest spots on the island. Well done we are looking forward to visit st Regis in Bora Bora.
Honeymoon at the St Regis 2019
My new husband and I stayed at two hotels in Mauritius for our honeymoon in 2019 - the St Regis was by far our favourite! Firstly the hotel is beautiful! The colonial decor is wonderful and inspired by the building’s history - it makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another time. This carries through to the suites, all of which are beautiful. The pool and general surroundings provide fantastic views especially at sunset. The thing that makes the St Regis really special is it’s excellent staff and high level of service. The level of care and attention is outstanding. This started with a lovely welcome (in possibly the most picturesque reception we have seen) complete with champagne. We then met Rishi our butler who truly made our stay unforgettable - he looked after us so well and I’m pretty sure he makes sure all his guests feel like they are his only ones! Minta, who looked after our room made sure it was always impeccably clean and tidy with lovely little touches to remind us it was our honeymoon. There are so many little touches that makes this hotel a beyond 5 star experience. The wake up coffee service in your room, the complimentary pressing service so you’re always smart for dinner etc. On our final night we were due do the champagne sabering (a St Regis tradition). Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great and we decided to save our bubbles (from our wedding) for a nicer evening. Harris (the pool bar manager) saw that we were disappointed and arranged with the chief sommelier Desire to remedy this. They arranged for the sabering to take place inside, provided their own champagne and made sure our last night was really special. We had a lovely time and can’t wait to come back next year. Had a wonderful 5 night stay here... no complaints: staff are lovely, food is great, rooms are very comfortable, and the beach is amazing. Shout out to Archie our butler, Nicholas who helped us at meal times, and the boys Akshay and Sandish who took such great care of us on the beach. Thank you!
The most beautiful situation - a true 5 star luxurious resort.
We have just returned from our honeymoon and have had the most incredible stay here. We stayed in a Junior Suite, with a sea view. The room (and bathroom!) were huge, stylish and quiet. The hotel is famed for its butler service, and our butler, Archie went out of his way to make our stay special. All the staff here are exceptional - friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The location is spectacular - the beach is the most beautiful I have ever visited and the sunsets are amazing. We stayed on a full board basis so all meals (but not drinks) were included in our package. There are four very good restaurants to choose from, (there is a fifth, a Japanese restaurant which you have to pay for but we didn't bother). The food is a highlight of the hotel with everything from burger and fries on the beach to fillet steak and Mauritian specialities at Le Manoir restaurant. Choice is plentiful - we didn't get bored. It is a really special place to stay - when we were there there was a real mix of honeymooners, couples and young families. It appears to appeal to all.
