Facilities
LUX* Le Morne is a foodie hotspot, with three restaurants, an ice cream parlour and a café where the ingredients are as fresh and local as possible; if you’re down by the beach at the right time you may catch Vik diving under the water for sea urchins, an island delicacy that he serves with rum at his shack on the sand.
The Kitchen
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the resort’s main restaurant every day. Lunch à la carte, featuring salads, sandwiches and heartier offerings such as Indian thalis, is bookended by superbly varied buffets for breakfast and dinner.
The Beach
You can enjoy a midday meal or dinner under the stars at this casual venue where the focus is on simple but flavoursome Mediterranean dishes and delicious pizzas.
East
For a sophisticated dinner, book a table at the signature Thai restaurant steps from the beach. There’s no menu; instead, the chefs will create dishes for you based on your likes and dislikes.
Maison LUX
You can order a barista-made coffee made from bespoke blends exclusive to LUX★, an exquisite pastry or a negroni at this chic all-day café/bar at the heart of the resort.
ICI
Drop into ICI for homemade ice cream and sorbets featuring the freshest of seasonal ingredients.
The Bar
The Bar is open from 10am to midnight and serves refreshing juices, cocktails, snacks and light meals with views over the lagoon.
Vik's
Located down the beach you'll find a casual fisherman's shack where Vik will introduce you to the flavours of sea urchin.
Kawaii
A Japanese Omakase restaurant where the chef will create a personal menu for you.
There’s nowhere quite like East, the speciality Thai restaurant where the dishes are designed to order to suit your tastes.

The LUX* ME Spa* is a sanctuary in the shadow of Le Morne where signature massages, traditional Chinese medicinal treatments and reviving facials are on offer. Try a pampering ritual featuring coconuts from the palm trees by the beach or just unwind in the hammam or the infinity pool in the relaxation garden.
A qualified instructor leads group* and private yoga* lessons in quiet corners of the resort.
The modern fitness centre has a selection of cardio, strength training and stretching equipment, and there are fitness classes and professional trainers as well.
You can play tennis, table tennis or beach volleyball or, for an extra charge, go mountain biking or play a round of golf at a nearby course.
There are some wonderful experiences here too. Head to Le Morne Mountain by 4x4 to catch the sunset whilst sipping on Champagne or watch a movie high up in a beach treehouse.
Diving courses* and excursions* can be arranged at a nearby PADI dive centre. Windsurf, kayak, sail a dinghy, grab a stand-up paddleboard or pedal boat, snorkel, wakeboard or water ski on the lagoon. You can also try your hand at kitesurfing if you don’t mind paying extra.
As part of its Zero Food Waste policy, the resort provides 700 hundred meals every month to children from a nearby school. Le Morne’s mixologists make their innovative cocktails using herbs grown in the large organic herb garden. Guests are invited to leave behind any clothes they no longer want so they can be donated to a local charity. Some of the spa treatments use ingredients grown not just in Mauritius, but sometimes no further than the garden outside.
