Restaurants & bars
Four restaurants are set throughout the resort and offer a range of both traditional and contemporary dishes from around the world. The Italian restaurant Acquapazza is situated on the private island and overlooks the lagoon. At this elegant open air venue you can enjoy both gourmet dishes and more traditional fare such as pizza. Breakfast is served daily at Beau Champ and guests can choose from an à la carte menu or enjoy made-to-order crepes, pancakes and waffles. You can even make your own fruit juices at the juice bar. In the evening you can select your choices at the grill and watch as they are cooked on the open kitchens or choose from the restaurant’s signature dishes. Dinner can also be accompanied by the finest French wines from the resort’s wine cellar.
For a casual poolside lunch and an al fresco dinner head to the Pan-Asian eatery Bambou. International dishes, including sushi, are available from noon until 5pm and, after the sun sets, Mauritian, Indian and Asian specialties are served. The restaurant also hosts lively theme nights such as the Zilwa Night during barbecued dishes infused with Creole spices and exotic flavours are served. The restaurant and bar Il Forno is located at the golf club, overlooking the 18th hole of the Ernie Els designed course. The laid back O-Bar, which overlooks the lagoon, is the ideal spot for a sundowner or a post dinner beverage.
