Located in the heart of Malta’s capital city, this 17th-century boutique hotel is a haven of style steeped in Valletta’s history.

Draped in the rich history of Valletta and laced with the legacy of the Knights of the Order of St. John, this luxurious five-star boutique hotel is a residence to behold. From sipping welcome drinks in the traditional service room overlooked by magnificent oil paintings to spotting the 400-year-old fountain as your eye wanders through to the elegant central courtyard, Rosselli is a spectacular piece of living history. The service and amenities do well to reflect the fact this was once the residence of a noble goldsmith with personal butlers upon arrival and a Michelin-starred restaurant for refined dinners while the namesake’s contemporary perspective is clearly reflected in the eclectic fusion of styles running throughout the hotel.

Each of the 25 rooms and suites at this baroque gem have been carefully designed with nods to the history of Don Pietro and his family at every turn. Named after the heir to the family’s fortunes, the Comfort Rooms exude a sense of youthful nobility and are filled with rich textures. A tribute to his wife, the Deluxe Rooms are a serene and elegant space with feminine undertones – the take home keepsake sewing box inspired by the tailors of Merchants Street is a thoughtful touch. Filled with mid-century flair we love the Junior Suite with its sumptuous mezzanine sleeping quarters overlooking the lavish lounge area and marble floors.
