Excellent hotel and favourite place to stay in Malta 🇲🇹
Corinthia Nalta is an excellent hotel very friendly staff and lovely food the swimming pool is very clean and relaxing plenty of sun beds rooms are maintained well to a high standard location of the hotel is amazing and the hotel has access to its own water sports
Relaxing with wonderful views
The hotel was a perfect base for exploring Malta on this, our first visit to the island. We arrived late and received a warm welcome. We were very pleased to find a complimentary fruit platter, cakes and mineral water in our room, which was large with a lovely view of the bay. Parking was just outside. The location was good for visiting Valetta, Marsaxlokk, Madina, and the oldest historic sites in Europe. We liked the Sussurra restaurant which had a luxurious cosmopolitan atmosphere, romantic views of the bay at night and delicious food and drinks. A lovely hotel.
Golden Wedding Anniversary Treat
My wife and I enjoyed a stay for a week ( 30th Oct - 6th Nov ) at the Corinthia Hotel St. George to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. A beautiful hotel which is very impressive as soon as you enter the front with a massive reception and cosy seating and cafe area leading to a wonderful vista through the the large arched windows. All the hotel staff were extremely courteous, good natured and friendly with a special thank you to Alex, a concierge, who was always a wealth of friendly information and Marci who was in attendance at the Fra Martin breakfast buffet nearly every morning; always a friendly start to the day. Our room was a deluxe double with seaview on the 3rd floor right in the middle of the hotel rear superbly suited to overlook the pools and the bay beyond. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean with bottled spring water supplied daily. My only criticism of the room was difficult to access power points and, essential nowadays, no USB charging points which can often be found in less glamorous hotels. We ate an evening meal at Fra Martin restaurant which was buffet style and extremely good value. We also ate at Henry J Bean, amazing food, huge helpings and good prices. The hotel is a little out of the way of the main resort towns but we were able to use the free courtesy shuttle which has to be pre booked, operating at 09:00 and 10:00 to Valletta and Sliema with returns at 3:30 and 4:30. Brilliant. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be returning to this Corinthia Hotel.
