Restaurants & bars
Javvu is the main restaurant, set along the shoreline. Breakfasts are served here with a choice from buffet and live cooking stations, while lunch and dinner are international dishes. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and private pavilions for special occasions.
Dr Ali’s is named after a 19th-Century Maldivian doctor, with décor inspired by his mansion. There are three separate dining rooms to reflect the restaurant’s location at the crossing point of the Indian Ocean, South China Sea and Arabian Gulf.
At the northern tip of the island, Fashala (meaning ‘the edge’) focuses on local produce, with Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
Private dining experiences can also be arranged in your villa, on the beach, on a luxury yacht, at the highest point in the Maldives on Mount Villingili, and even in a clearing in the jungle.
Three bars include Endheri, located next to the pool, beach and watersports centre; cosmopolitan Manzaru which is ideal for evening cocktails; and the M-Lounge – a sleek beachfront venue playing chilled tunes.
Spa & wellness
The Cool Zone kids’ club welcomes children age 4-12. Activities include land- and beach-based adventures, with arts and crafts, fun wildlife discoveries and treasure hunts. One of the most popular features is the Island Safari Handbook, which comes complete with a guide to identifying the island’s inhabitants on land and underwater.
Pool Villas, Deluxe Pool Villas and Beach Villas with Private Pool can all sleep a maximum of three adults or two adults and two children. The Two Bedroom Twin Beach Villa with Private Pool can sleep a maximum of four adults and two children and, as they're two separate villas, are ideal for families with older children.
The Villingili Golf Course is the largest 9-hole golf course in the Maldives. It’s located at the southern end of the island, with fairways lined with coconut palms and ocean views. This 1000-metre course includes par-3 and par-4 holes (all named after marine life) and is suitable for beginners and experienced golfers. There’s also a Club House and a Pro Shop.
