Lovely Evening at mulberry tavern
Delicious food - we had fish and chips and the red cabbage dish was so good. Lovely to sit out on a terrace and very relaxed atmosphere. Great service and recommendations especially from Thelma and also Clarence. We will be back :-)
August 2019 Honeymoon Stay
For the first part of our Maldivian honeymoon, we stayed in two of the beautiful water villa suites. The first water villa suite was a standard water Villa suite and the second was the honeymoon suite. Both were lovely but I’d definitely recommend spending a bit more to stay in the honeymoon suite if you’re able. The views are just breathtaking and the water is much clearer for snorkelling. Food was fab every day and night. Apart from the iconic dreamlike white sands and crystal waters, my favourite memories there are relaxing by the sea either by our villa or by the pool, walking around the island, snorkelling and kayaking. It was so amazing to kayak around the length of the island, park up on the beach by the bar, have a chilled drink of corona beach side, then resume of our kayak exploration! Whilst snorkelling around the water villas we saw a range of fish, sharks and a turtle on our last day! Would I return? Yes! However there are so many beautiful islands to see in the Maldives as well. If you’re booking your honeymoon and are considering the Maldives, do it! It will surpass most, if not all other destinations you could visit or have visited. Thank you Kuredu for an amazing stay!
Great calming holiday!
I went here with my family for a summer trip and the service was some of the best I have I ever experienced in my life. The people really made the difference in this resort, they were always readily available, kind and eager to help at all times. At a place as beautiful as this the service just made it all the better. I do advise going during the traditional winter (so september-january) so you experience the peak of the weather. There is a wild ecosystem here which I perhaps wasn't all prepared for; bats, big lizards etc. Would recommend a long stay here (10+ days).
This place is a paradise. Amazing. Staff is very friendly, the houses are very clean, food is amazing. The waters are so clear and riffs are beautiful. It’s perfect for snorkeling, we’ve spotted turtles, sharks, colorful fishes and corals and it’s just few steps of your bungalow. There are so many things to do at the island, I couldn’t get enough for a week. Next time I will stay 2 or 3 weeks. Absolutely love it!
Great stays and diving at Kuredu
We have stayed two times at Kuredu and enjoyed it a lot. It is the true barefeet maledivian resort. Service is great, food is good, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is a lot of space. We like the island is a bit bigger than the majority of the islands, so you can get around a bit if you stay longer. Prodivers is a very professional dive outfit, both for course (our teenage kids) and more advanced diving (oursvelves). The diving around Kuredu is pretty good; and the scooter diving in the channels, is absolutely to be recommended if you are a more experienced diver looking for the the bigger fish and a bit of a thrill. The day trip to noon atoll and the shark cleaning station is really worth it . Snorkeling for turtles in the lagoon is great for kids / teenagers - the island is known to attract a lot of turtles. The shark and ray nursery on the outer side of the island is interesting and nice. We would just urge the resort no longer to blow up sand and coral rubble in the lagoon to get more turquoise waters for better pictures. It is detrimental to the lagoon, fish life, and the house reef, and . So stop doing it, you have a nice island, it is really a pity, protect the environment ! We hope to be back.
