This place is absolute heaven! Food is Amazing, the staff is so helpful and nice and the surroundings stunning! We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was perfect when travelling with a toddler. I have nothing negative to say about ja manafaru!!
What we liked: Good diving, even the house reef - great facilities - Thank you Jeff Excellent service everywhere - always rapid reaction time Delicious food, in all restaurants. Quick service. Beautiful island. Very enjoyable pools (two of them) Nice room Nice facilities throughout the island. What could be improved: Air conditioning in the room was too noisy Room is a bit dark Cocktails could be improved Better lights for reading near the bed Takes some time to get there and never so sure when you depart for the island with the sea plane transfer.
Paradise ! Amazing Resort
My first trip to the Maldives so I can only comment on the experience that I have just enjoyed. The JA Manafaru is the most amazing resort and really offers the highest level in every category. Having travelled all over the world with work and with family then this resort is the only place I have ever stayed that ticks all the boxes in terms of accommodation, catering, staff etc. We had an overwater sunset villa and these were modern with excellent use of space. The bed was extremely comfy and the toiletries were elemis throughout. The outside space however was the best part with direct access to the ocean and excellent snorkeling as well as your own private pool on the deck. There is an excellent choice of restaurants at the resort and the food quality in all of them was amazing ! The bit I will remember the most however is the people, the customer service standards demonstrated by JA Manafaru was unbelievable and nothing was too much trouble. There are so many resorts to choose from in the Maldives and everyone's opinions will always differ but in my opinion you would struggle to find better than the JA Manafaru resort.
Fantastic Holiday 5*
This is our 3rd time in the Maldives and can easily say this stay was the best. Will try and summarise in bullet points: - Food was absolutely great. Definitely not “hotel” food but at par with the restaurants you can find in major global cities like London or NY. Head Chef Moussa was always on duty with a smiling face. The teppanyaki is also something to be experienced, great chef there too. - Hospitality and quality of service is also great, our customer relations host Ibrahim Ziyaad found some time every day to ask if we needed anything, all our requests were dealt with in a prompt and timely manner. Great professionalism. The gentlemen in Infinity pool bar were also very kind and helpful. - Prices of extras in line with Maldives standards. I really liked the fact that prices quoted were inclusive of all taxes, unlike most places where they are added later. - Ocean is amazing, white sand, light blue ocean, no algae, was very pleasant to swim. - Done snorkelling, they take you somewhere 20 mins away by boat, was amazing, highly recommended - Rooms very clean, cleaning done twice a day.
The Best Diving Experience!
I stayed here with the fam and the best part of my trip was receiving my PADI Open Water Dive Certification under the guidance of one of the most awesome humans I’ve ever met. I couldn’t have asked for a better dive instructor than the wonderful Jeff Warden who not only taught me the skills I need, but also made sure that I had a ton of fun while learning. Other highlights of the trip was the dolphin cruise which was very rewarding (we must’ve seen more than a hundred of these beautiful creatures; Bottlenoses and Spinners). The water villas were beautiful and the only suggestion I have here is to improve the F&B quality. Otherwise this trip was simply magical.
